you make an excellent point, Fitnesstreats. However in Crossfit you are paying for the coaching. So, if the coaching is subpar at the box, go elsewhere. Go to globogym and see folks doing improper, inadequate, dangerous, waste of time workouts! Guess what--they are their own coach. I am fortunate to live in a metro area where there are many affiliates from which to chose. I love Atomiccrossfit and our coaches are the bomb. I am an older woman and get lots of individual attention, direction and coaching. So what, life is a journey. Good luck in yours :).
