Im honestly shocked by the cuts of Drake Nevis and Ben Ijalana (though could see it coming when Reitz started at LT over him). I expect McNary and Odongo will go to PS neither was at all ready.

Eh. IMO the fleeing is stupid however id like to know there def. of fleeing. The unregistered gun however is just dumb though especially if your caring it around (I wont get into thoughts on gun laws).

This was a great article and good job Olly. But could someone please edit it? Im horrible at grammer and spelling myself but there are a ton of easy spelling mistakes and kept messing with me when trying to read it.

The fact that its conditional 7th (as reported by https://twitter.com/RussellStReport/status/332921522270388224) who Im not so sure he is a reputable source as from what I can tell he is just another person writing for a blog, doesn't change my view to be honest.I also think it is important now to realize that if we go with the assumption that its a conditional 7th this clearly means the Colts didn't value him as a key piece with much potential in the system they are looking to run this year in Pep Hamilton's offense. This also means they were not in a position to ask for much and Baltimore very likely it would seem wasn't willing to give up much. Now if Shipley is really someone special why might the ravens not want to give up much? I mean they did just lose there center to retirement and have nothing but pieces brought in to compete? Its something to think about. So id think it is important to wait and see if he even makes the ravens roster? If he can't even make it on their roster who has no real favorite at C going into camp I couldn't say he would make the Colts roster or that this was in anyway a bad trade. Plus if he really didn't make the roster and the Colts really wanted to they would have a chance at getting him back.

The whole "Secret Superstar" article part of the argument is void if you think Samson Satele is horrible. You should realize the wrote the same "secret Superstar" article on Samson Satele last season when we picked him up.
There is no reason to believe that Holmes Character will become an issue as you say. Absolutely none.

Umm you don't seriously believe that Wayne couldn't net us a 6th do you? And we don't agree on what we could have got for gonzo but it is useless to talk about now anyway. But just know as I know you do every situation is different and a lot went into why Lloyd went for what he did and why that wouldn't mean that Wayne couldn't net us a 6th. When talking trades previous performance is one thing that is taken into account when deciding value not just what future performance will be. Its a big reason why Moss was 4th and Lloyd 6th with a condition.
2 years, 12 months ago on Preparing for the Colts Future: Wide Receiver Conundrum
@flores_salicis "Sane coaching staff"? LOL. Anyway idk Flores. But you know White was still hurt the first few games and they only had 3 WR'ers and never used Gonzo. Then Collie was struggling and white still wasn't doing anything and never used gonzo. At this point in time they have basically never had him on the field for more than like 1 play a game maybe. And if you already knew you weren't going to keep Gonzo after this year then yes id trade him for whatever I could get for Gonzo and taken whatever came of that player who filled his spot because they wouldn't have made us any worse off given that gonzo wasn't playing and we weren't doing anything this year. I don't think a 6th would be out of the question at all.
@flores_salicis We wouldn't be able to get very much but if we tried we should have been able to get at least a 6 or 7th round pick which is better than nothing. Remember the risk they are taking is very low and he has to go though a physical before trades go though. But I don't think they ever even considered trading him wise they probably would have played him in the start of the season more or less to prove to people he was healthy. I don't even think they have wanted to play him for their own knowledge.
@pierrezombie@Brett Mock Well for some semblance of a comparison this is the contract Andre Johnson signed last year: 2011: $6 million, 2012: $6.5 million, 2013: $6.2 million, 2014: $6.5 million, 2015: $10.5 million, 2016: $11 million. Also looking at a few other contracts on average he is right in their with some of the other top guys contract wise on a per year bases.
@Brett Mock@pierrezombie So thought the contract he was making between 5-6 mil. a year taking that he made less than that 39.5 when he restructured.
@Brett Mock@etid5353 If you have a MAC all you have to do is press ALT C but yea...
@TrueBlue87@pierrezombie Its def. a good chunk. Again though we get back to it depending on how some things play out the rest of the season. Their are good reasons why we would want him back and reasons under which we wouldn't if certain things happened. One issue is I don't think Colts are taking a 1st RD WR at this point (not that we have to) so if we don't think Garçon is a #1 and Wayne may not be either what are we planning.
@pierrezombie Well this is the thing with Wayne I think. With every contract of his to this point he has given a discount. Now though he is in his last contract for his career and he knows it. As it is he wont get what he could have got with his last contract so id totally get wanting to get the biggest contract you can for your last one since you didn't do it when you were in your prime. I mean does anyone realize how much of a discount he has given to this point? And this year he is making under 6Mil. I think we could sign him on a 3 year (think he wants at least this) deal worth about 30-40 Mil. or around 10MIl. per year and he would probably be happy. Not sure how his full contract was this last time though. Anyone know the details?
Gonzo is gone. I hate to say it but at this point their is no denying it. The front office has decided they no longer want him playing for them. Imo they should have traded him but they lost that opportunity.
Garçon will be signed but I don't think he is a #1 at this point.
Wayne obviously is the hard one but if Manning is back I think he is resigned to a shorter deal if Manning isn't back I could see them not signing Wayne. However I think chances are he is resigned to a shorter 2-3 year deal as I don't think we go WR in the 1st round and am not sold on anyone at this moment as a sure fire #1 WR that I want on my team. However I think we go WR in first 3 rounds as their are some nice WR'ers out their. The one thing about WR'ers is that every year and for the next few years their is a pretty good crop of good WR'ers that will be available.
@LovinBlue Thanks. Yea need to get better cause I got school and work :(

Well I probably sounded bad huh. Well got to get use to the flow to stay in the convo here not the same as the other pods I have been on haha.
@BlueMark18 They sure are.
yep losing listeners every couple min.
@CrizzleColts haha yea.
Can harly hear him
@BlueMark18 Yes they do need to be used in the passing game.
@BlueMark18 He should have run more yes. They should have run the ball more in general id say.
@Jake Yep. And and if he isn't running he is blocking.
I def. had stuff to say about running game
@BlueMark18@Shake1n1bake Die in a fire
Clark had one drop or at least one attempted throw his direction that he didn't catch idk if it was overthrown or not.
Well lets hope you are right and he doesn't just think that it is the play of the players alone. The Coaches need to get looked at and replaced and hope that actually happens.

The first week we were picking straight up. However, we realized we were picking games exactly the same so now we are using the spread. Whether that changes how we pick enough we don't know scores still may be close but should at least have a better disparity on picks and results.

Idk if you already are planning on it but although it is live that you are doing it afterwards you should put up the podcast on here since you should record it anyway so that others that can't listen live and call in can still listen to it.
