Def agree with Oladipo and Len. Otto Porter is intriguing as well. Small ball with Reggie-Russ-Porter-KD-Ibaka.
Can barely shoot? He shot 60% from the field and 44% from 3 last year. C'mon, at least research the stats before bashing someone. He's not Ray Allen but he's not an awful shooter and he's improved significantly every year.
Personally I think Noel is an elite talent. He's almost 7ft and only 210 lbs. That's incredible. Expecting him to add 20+ lbs of muscle isn't realistic, and if he's adding dead weight, then it'll have an impact on his athleticism. His off game is also pretty poor.
Personally I think Len will wind up being the best center in this draft. I wouldn't mind trading #12 and another pickup move up to draft him.
I'm sure you guys have had lots of love today but I personally wanted to add to it and hope that you all have managed to stay safe. I live in Wash DC so I was unaffected by the storms but I have seen the aftermath and it's incredibly heartbreaking. Just made a donation to the Red Cross per KD on twitter .... stay strong.
He's regressed since Orlando but he's still better than half the guys on that list.
So it's fair to blame Howard for a coach who doesn't believe in defense, the worst defensive pg in the NBA, and an incredibly flawed roster? If you actually believe Howard is a worse def center than splitter or nene than you are ignorant.
Im pretty sure your facts have more to do with the fact that Perkins gets to play with KD Westbrook and Ibaka, while Cousins plays with Isaiah Thomas and Patrick Patterson. If anything, our offensive #s are achieved in spite of Perkins.
Dwight Howard isn't on this list. Does this mean that Splitter and Nene are better defenders? Once again, you can't use a team stat as a measuring stick for an individual player.
This is incredibly unsound logic. You can't hold an individual accountable for a team stat. By your logic, we should credit Perkins for us having one of the most efficient scoring teams in the NBA.
Memphis is good team. We lost one of the top 6 players in the NBA a few weeks ago. People need to come back off the ledge already. Perspective, people, perspective.
KD could put up a 50-20-10 line and I bet people would criticize him if he missed any shots in the 4th. Just ridiculous.
It's not coincidental that when we fall into the trap of ISO basketball we struggled to score. We built that huge lead by working the ball around and making quality passes. Can't drop that so easily in the 4th qtr.

Refs are letting the Grizz play like its a Knicks/Heat playoff game back in the 90s .... and calling us tighter than my cousin's 4th grade church league. 0 consistency whatsoever.
