It still doesn't feel like they've recaptured that SB magic from the early 2000's. Oh well, I guess they're making a conscious effort.
@FeliciaTommyPritchett 6's?!?!
Dating back to the 90's, I've never really been a fan of the 9's (with the exception of the charcoals), but some of these really have the potential to make it on my radar come this holiday season.
@LadariusSimonton @Shoeguy93 @CheckMyDope Actually it's ONE pair of the AJ 3's that's been confirmed, and it's a new colorway. I doubt all those colors are coming back in 2014. J/b might use the 5 releases in 2012 as a reason to put the 4's on an extended hibernation.
@BiscoeTheBoss @Shoeguy93 If Jordan Brand was concerned about our collections, they'd go Broke! They're more concerned with their profit (as any successful business should be). Every release leaves thousands empty handed due to various financial and/or other priorities. Coming back every couple of years to recoup that money from those that missed out makes perfect sense. I hear where you're coming from, but I have to agree with J/b and Nike......
@LebronsBitch666 No they don't! They're doing just fine in my collectors room, along with everything 80's and 90's I've acquired.
I wish the Hare 7's would drop next year also!
@RDogg23 I doubt it! After these drop in early December (as speculated by some sites), the 11's will follow and then the focus will be on 2013's 5's, 13's and possible 8's.... Last year, the last pair of 3's to drop was the Black flips around the beginning of December, then that was the last we heard of 3's(until next years crimsons at least).
@Big_Infinite Damn homie, you making us older heads feel "Old". I'm with ya though!
Leather is suppose to crease and conform to your foot due to it's durability! That's how you know whether you have "Leather" or "pleather". Just a little FYI for ya.
@flyguynameli @Fresh3000 @HenryAkinE Have those two even been confirmed as a 2013 release by J/b, or is everyone speculating b/c it's the 23 anniversary of the 5's?
@NolanHayes This guy right here holds both a Bachelors and MBA in Business and FAILS to see your point. However, my nephew left his his violin upstairs and I'd be more than happy to grab it and play a tune for you.
I received both my under grad and MBA in business, so from a business point of view I think it makes perfect sense. At the moment, the Culture/Market is HOT! To Nike, I say "if sneakerheads wanna buy kicks when times are tough (Recession), leave no stone unturned! Get what you can get while you can; as long as the money is still out there".
@jstforkicks @Cut Up I heard a rumor that those were gonna be an "International" exclusive, eventually making it's way to US retailers in the following years like the 2009 "True Blue 3". I guess only time will tell,
@Koach_CartER What other pair of Fire Reds?
Here....We... Go... Again! Maybe I might spot something new this time around.
@shoeking No please! leave the Originals to those that had the vision to collect them! Thanks!
@JordansSince92 Well said! I agreed with everything you said in your first post. I didn't sense any cockiness in your post at all either. I guess that's one of the cons when you text and type your opinion in this digital age. I'm sure dude will be just fine.
@GyanShieldsdad It all depends who thinks it's a "Big Problem". As long as Nike is making their money back and some, it's all good and fair business. In a perfect world, pre-ordering would work! However in life, nothing ever works without it's flaws. It's not a problem or an issue for Nike's higher ups until murders start to become the norm followed by congressional hearings on C-span, ABC, and NBC news. When that type of publicity hits Nike and their Stock, you'll see some real change. For now, this division known as the "Urban sneaker community" isn't worth any of the precious boards time, only our hard earned dollars.
