I am 34 years old finishing my Masters in Forensic Science and going to attend law school next year. I am married to an amazing woman.
So I went ahead and activated the plug-in and I have a few problems, not sure what to do about them. First of all the Google+ button shows up even though I DO NOT have the check mark in the box. Second, even though I do not have text in certain fields it still shows the pre-populated fields as in the skills sections still shows the word "skill" even though I only have two skills. Also it is not centered on the page nor is the css correct (the dates where I was employed are not in the right place) . Finally, the page doesn't allow me use my existing header and navigation. It makes it look like a completely separate website. Is there a way to fix this so that it look like the rest of my website?

I know it has been a while, but I thought since it had been so long since I made this request that it would give you more time to have it done. I went ahead and purchased it and it only has three, can you please update it to accommodate the six that I need? Thank you for your help.
I like the plug-in but if you are unable to accommodate this request, I will need a refund as only three doesn't really give me enough to display my work history accurately.
I ended up getting sick today from some food I ate last night so we didn't end up doing everything Marian had planned. We have been home all day.

I know you said you will no longer be posting to this blog but I just want you to know that your advice as a blogger has helped me so much! This post I had read a while ago but couldn't remember where you said the stock photography was at so I was able to come back to it and refresh my memory. Saving me tons of time looking all over the web and headache looking for stock photography. I just wanted to say Thank you!

I would like to say that I think you are being entirely too hard on yourself, everyone makes mistakes in marriages. Trust me I am speaking from a reasonable amount of experience here, you didn't cause the demise of your marriage. Sure you may have been a contributing factor but in all honesty, the break down of any marriage is when either one or both parties decide that they no longer want to work at it. Part of marriage is letting the past go and forgiving the person for being a person, but that also means forgiving yourself. I do not know you personally but if you are anything like you show us on here you are a pretty good guy. If it didn't work, it was not completely your fault. Stop beating yourself up about it, learn from the mistakes, and do better next time.

I don't know about it being someone's place to point it out per se but I think it depends on your intent, if you are just looking for a way to then later be able to say "I told you so" then you should keep your mouth shut. It isn't doing anyone any good, however if you are doing it out of a spirit of love and concern for their well being then that is a different matter entirely. For instance if someone was walking toward the edge of a cliff you would warn them or try to stop them. If for some reason you were unable to prevent them from making the decision to keep walking, then out of love maybe you would give them a rope or perhaps a parachute. You would still do something because you love them, not because you want to rub it in their faces later that they are wrong. It then becomes more important that you love them than it does that you have warned them.

Notice how it is all the girls that are commenting how great you look? I'm not saying you look bad as a brunette but I think blonde fit you better in my opinion. Just my .02.

Although I am not the biggest fan of Halloween (lets just say I had issues as a child especially during Halloween time), this would be pretty cool to win. I mean who doesn't want to be Batman? I'm just sayin...bring on Halloween. My wife on the other hand LOVES the holidays, so she balances me out quite nicely.

If we actually had 4G LTE here that would be a valid reason, I could only get it with the anticipation of 4G LTE at some later time. Other than that it is just a bigger screen, which does have its merits.
2 years ago on Dear Dan, How Do I Rationalize Buying the New iPhone?
Who needs rationalization? Life is too short and you work hard for your money (lets hope) so why not take some of it and enjoy a new iPhone. Besides, other people have more guilty habits than that and a new iPhone isn't the worst thing you could be buying either. I'm still torn, I have the iPhone 4s and I am not sure if it worth it to upgrade again. I may skip this one or I may get one down the road when I actually have the money.
Do you use the free version of Sharepress or the paid one? The reason I ask is because the paid version seems to take the place of several of the ones you have listed here and reducing plugins is always nice. I also wonder because if the free is good then the paid one might be worth it as well.

I'd go into investigator mode and start looking further (after I secured the scene of course and called the police). Hopefully I would have noticed it was a "dead" manequin before I called the police.

@tigger62077 I understand your concern, after all we are all to one degree or another putting ourselves out there and it can be scary knowing that others will be judging us based upon our words. I have to say though less people will find you than you think. I was worried about being overwhelmed, now I'm just hoping to be whelmed. Lol.
Nevertheless I digress, the story that you tell on your blog is important because it is about you. Your trials, your tribulations, your hopes and dreams. We can touch others like never before in the history of the world. I mean consider how fast your blog can reach around the world! If you are worried about names/information being disclosed I would recommend changing their names or asking them permission to use it in your blog. Many will be flattered that you would want to include them. Good luck! You have another subscriber!

I couldn't agree more, you need to be you. There is a time for everything! Fun and serious! Don't stop being yourself just because some people may take themselves to seriously or in some instances not serious enough. I came for the laughter, I stayed for the honest dialogue.

I still don't know how but I ate something that gave me food poisioning to the point that I ended up in the hospital. I spent five days there while the doctors tried to figure out what was wrong with me. After I left the hospital and they thought it was one thing, it turned out that it was a bacterial infection that was cured with a $100 anti-biotic. Needless to say it is a good thing I don't remember the place or means otherwise I would never be able to eat there again.
I recently ran accross some people who hate my beliefs, they spread lies and partial truths based upon lies of other people. They don't care that they are wrong, they just want to feel morally superior to me. Well I don't like quoting this but, "Haters are going to hate". If people come at you, it's about them not about you. It is the deficiencies in their lives that lead them to be that way. The saying "misery loves company" comes to mind. My point is, don't let the people that are rude and uncouth dictate your actions or your blog direction. You don't need a thick skin, you need to be yourself. That is why we follow you, not because you are perfect but because you are you.

LOL @sarah.naumcheff If you sent him a message he does get back to you though. I will definitely give him props for that.
That's awesome! Good goal. One of your readers has commented on a couple of my posts! I can't tell you how happy that made me! Glad to hear that the move went well.
I recently came across a picture that had the hip of a woman's body, it referenced the fact that her body wasn't ruined but that she was a tiger who earned her stripes. I found that kind of fitting, scars are the things that make us who we are, we shouldn't be ashamed of them. We should imbrace our differences and recognize the value of all life regardless of our agreement with their choices.

I feel so normal and blessed right now. I've had some crazy dating experiences but these beat anything I have ever experienced. The previous comments were disturbing to say the least. My condolences to those women who endured these.
2 years, 1 month ago on No Second Date For You!
People often times feel the need to be "right" but as someone once told me in marriage, "Would you rather be right or would you rather be happy?" The world seems to confuse being right with being happy. I know that with my wife even if I am "right", I will figure out where I am wrong and apologize for that. If I said something that was misconstrued or meant in a different way then I will explain what I really meant and apologize for not making myself clearer. I try to sacrifice my pride of being right for the love and happiness of my wife because in the end it is her happiness that I care more about than myself.

I think that with all things there can be excess but used in the right way Facebook can help garner happier and healthier friendships. The key is knowing what/when to share something. If you do not use discretion in sharing then it can be a terrible place. Additionally if it consumes so much of your time that you fail to be in your relationships then it is time to cut back and use it on a limited basis. Case in point, I use to play games on Facebook and wasted significant amounts of time building my "Farm" but then I realized how it was affecting not only me but also my life with everyone else. So I told everyone I was getting off of the games and to not send me any more requests. They have stopped sending them and I am much happier only sharing what I want to and when I want to.

@nphaskins @Mr. Darcy Is there a work around so that at least a letter will be shown in the excerpt and the drop cap will show on the post page? Or something?

I'm trying add a drop cap to my blog posts but the drop cap on the front screen doesn't show up and the letter itself is missing. The drop cap shows on the individual post page. here is the link http://www.taylordarcy.com

I would love to buy this however, is there a way to have more fields for experience? I need six and you only offer three. Is it possible to get it modified to add the additional?
Wow! That's pretty crazy. I vote for the donating those items to a good cause. No matter what enjoy moving! I can't stand it myself.
