I think you forgot the most important con if your list: as much as I'd love to try Cross Fit and take several lessons, the monthly membership is very expensive compared to a normal gym. Here in Europe at the nearest Cross Fit gym where I live it's 65 euro per month, and the gym offers only evening workouts, it's not even open in the morning! Furthermore, before being allowed to subscribe for a monthly membership you have to take 3 classes called "elements classes", which cost 125 euro!
