HTC has been curious in its deployment of phones. If the business plan is to flood the market with mid-range phones in the hopes that one stands out, the plan is flawed. I used to like HTC phones. I have one, for now. But I do not want to wade through a myriad of phones to find one that suits me, especially given the Sense 5.0 information (rumors).
I want a high end phone and the perpetuation of this business model drives me further away from selecting another HTC.

I have the HTC Sensation 4G. If those images are legit, it is just another reason, among many, my next phone will not be an HTC.

I agree with the entire article. These kind of decisions are why when I trade in my HTC Sensation for a new phone, I will not be buying another HTC. I would rather they do a few phones really really well than a ton of phones and sacrifice quality for quantity. Instead, I will probably go with a stock android phone (though I prefer a smaller screen) or maybe Sammy.

That is a good update - needed if not required, but I would really like to see a doc update with features akin to what we can find in something like openoffice. I am not looking for Word 2007 or later type features, but way more than what is there right now. Talk about a required update....docs needs it.

Got the update. Went smoothly. Still playing with it but the lock screen is different with cards, not many (clock, calendar, music, gmail) you can add and scroll laterally through without unlocking device. The lock screen clock is also new. Do not like the new look of the clock. Still trying to go through additional "upgrades".
The notification bar(s) are also new. Left side is notifications, right side is setting oriented given quick access to wifi, airplane, blue tooth, brightness, battery, auto rotate with a general settings access as well. Will update if other newness is found.

No, but I sure would like a new nexus device that is not 4.7".

@FryeDaddyTN Another really nice (and needed) feature is the new way that the e-mail recipients are displayed where you can delete a name with one click rather than the old way.
2 years, 3 months ago on Google Introduces New Compose Window In Gmail
Just got the feature today. Obviously it changes the way new e-mails are composed and lets you move the window around so that you can access other e-mails or contacts in gmail. Once you hit compose, for the window to be movable, you do need to click the arrow which will release it from the bottom right corner.
The upgrade also changes how you reply/RTA/Forward messages. No new window pops up, but a different icon layout and options are available, such as buttons for formatting, attachment, discard are on a row at the bottom.
I like the upgrade and it was much needed. Although I have not done much with it yet. Just thought I would pass along initial observations.
I don't think the bezel is wide enough! (jk)

@Kool1 so the pics are too low res for me to say I don't like it, but acceptable for you to say it looks great. Interesting. My comments are not about android v. apple. My comments were about an android product and the way it looks.
And an e-tough-guy to boot. You are just like your name, so cool (insert sarcasm).
2 years, 4 months ago on [Update] Google Nexus 10 Details Leaked, Photos Of Hardware And Software
@Kool1, I assume you were directing that to me. I am all Android (wife is iWhatever). But I have the HTC Sensation 4G and Nexus 7. In my business, all partners are Android. My daughter has Chromebook. My assessment was a personal one, but an honest one. I do not like the way it looks. It looks heavy, clunky, and not very sleek.
I could see someone objectively saying that they do think it is "ok", but to say it "looks great", "well that's weird" ($1 to Cosmo Kramer)
The specs are great, but the design pics and UI must be a troll.
Wow, that is a nice option. The locked orientation was not a big deal to me. But from time to time I did wish that I could change that. Now that I can, I am really liking it. Thanks for the post.
