There must be a substantial amount of research conducted by each individual in order to find a good cloud company. I recently switched from dropbox after their numerous security breaches, over to 4Sync. This company gives 15gb of free storage and has strong security with triple backup of all files. As for those here saying cloud is not actually useful for average people, try 4Sync and get access to your files on all platforms.

Fascinating findings. Overall, I have observed that with the cloud, predictions are actually coming true in nearly all sectors whereas in other services they rarely come true in such a way. My own prediction is that services such as dropbox, googledrive, etc, will decline due to security hacks and data compromisation (google). Private user friendly companies such as 4sync will succeed.
