Cute pic, Sally! Sounds really neat! I also wonder what your career plans are for the future.

You know I hate Walmart but I did order something from Walmart through their "site to store" option. It's a Dora bedding set for my two-year-old. =) I hope that she likes it.

My mom always gets me earrings and socks in my stocking! She still gets us stockings and gifts even though we're all in our mid-thirties =)

Most people I know seem to get their jobs based on "who they know." It certainly doesn't hurt to have a large network of friends and acquaintances.

I like Suze Orman! Her show is funny and she posts hilarious things on Facebook. She's a little harsh but I can live with it.

Baggage fees make a huge difference. We've paid $50 to check a bag before and my head almost exploded. Since that happened, I learned to check on baggage fees and other fees.

My sister works in software and probably changes jobs every two years. I think she gets sick of her coworkers or something. It always seems like a bad idea but it has actually worked out fine for her.

Any side hustle I do would have to require not leaving my home. I don't want to be away from my kids in my free time because they're so young.

Gas cards are a great gift. I like gift cards in general, though. I also like money as a gift =)

That is one thing we definitely need in our permanent home. Right now my office is in the corner of my bedroom and it is not working. I need a place to work that isn't also where I sleep! I'm glad its temporary.

At our old house, we would put the vent covers over the vents into the crawl space, get the furnace serviced, and clean the gutters.

We've laid our own tile before and I thought it was fun! We have hired a professional to stay there and cut them for us...but we did the laying and grouting ourselves.

@DC @ Young Adult Money @Holly at ClubThrifty My family finally stopped doing the adult gift exchange when we reached the ten grandkid level. That's a lot of nieces and nephews to buy for! Fortunately, it was a mutual decision and no one was angry. We're all adults now and there's no reason for me to buy something for my brother who makes 200K with his wife. I still buy for my parents, though. I refuse to give that up!

I love ugly sweater parties!!! Most of our Christmas celebrations are frugal...we mostly just get together with families and have a pitch in. I finally talked family members into giving up the gift exchange traditions a few years as well. Now we all just buy for the kids.
I don't have a tablet...but my four-year-old wishes I did. She loves playing games on other people's! I might get her a generic one at some point if I find one cheap enough =)
