Don't smell like smoke! That is one thing my boss hated at my old job. She couldn't deal with smokers and she could smell it a mile away.

@DebtChronicles That's basically what I do. I can write a post about almost anything so I don't need someone else to write it for me.

Nice! I have never really applied for a job that I'm not qualified for, but I would imagine these are good tips. I think that having a good personality and temperament is a great way to get your foot in the door. A lot of employers will train you if you have the right attitude.

Our biggest expense so far has been the hospital stays. Other than that, I think our kids have been relatively cheap. We didn't really plan financially for our kids because we were young and dumb at that time, but it still turned out okay. You're way ahead of the game, Cat!

I have a love/hate relationship with my HSA. I don't like contributing to it (I do anyway) but I love it when money is there when we need it. We use ours mostly for dental since we don't have dental insurance.

I think you should get a graduate degree if your employer will pay for it but you shouldn't necessarily pay for it yourself. I've read a lot about MBAs specifically and they don't have that great of an ROI.

Awwww.....how cute! That's so sweet of you to rescue Julep! We have an 11-year-old dachshund, Pablo. He was given to me as a gift by my ex. He's been a great dog and hasn't cost us much aside from annual shots and heartworm pills. =)

Be careful not to blow through your paypal money! I did that once. I sold a bunch of stuff on ebay and built up my account to a few hundred bucks. The next thing I knew it was gone and I had spent it =(
