@Weishaupt Curious: alcohol, pot, or something stronger? Senility? Or (likely) garden-variety batshit? A cocktail of all-of-the-above? Anyway, just wanted to say -- love love love your brief but insightful comments. Boy, you can sure craft an argument. Thank you! And please, don't stop.

@Sparkela And Aliens. From Space. Who walk among us. Like the fungus.
@WarrenMetzler You are very...unconvincing. You're hurling many insults, but offer only one old anecdote, which may be true. If you claim that the Secretary position requires no skill to be effective, well, that's when I'm sure you're blowin' smoke yourself.
Yes, the man is boring. Oh God he's so boring. But the author also outlined his strengths, and he's' much more convincing than a comment like yours, which looks like a monkey throwing poo.
Hilary has done a lot of good for a many different kinds of people here and around the world, I believe. And I'm far from alone. She's not perfect, of course, but she's been a true democrat with a small "d", working the art of the possible. That's something.

@CarolynPembers What I would have loved is for Biden and Hillary to make a switch. Wouldn't that have been great on several counts? I think you're right though, and I just hope someone emerges who can beat the inevitable Scott Brown candidacy for Kerry's seat.

@ageofknowledge Honestly, you're a negative, empty-headed parrot.
@benedictus Wow, what penetratingly deep analysis you offer. I'm surprised you aren't on the short list.
@BethTerry Yes it's a great interview program, which I listen to on Stitcher many days.
You should consider a separate blog post, because it is a great summary of what can be done around plastics. Or, what needs to be done. It definitely got me pumped up to focus in. I'm sitting at my table as I speak this into my iPhone, and I'm surrounded, completely surrounded by unnecessary plastic objects. I can definitely easily cut out so much ojf it, and the interview gave me lots to work with.
