Ha I Love it! In the previous article on this topic, I mention I'm not "that familiar" with the Patriot Act and then my prayers are answered! (will kinda?) Great minds think alike! It is full circle, and once again we "trusted" our representatives to watch our six's and they failed miserably. Do you think any of them actually read the Patriot Act before they voted for it? I understand the need for the ability to get intelligence quickly post 9/11 but now it get's extended and extended. "“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” -Benjamin Franklin Words that will haunt us I'm afraid. No doubt. Good write up kid!
@shooten Good Point about Boston. If you collect all this data and don't act on it? What's the point? That's how all the conspiracy theory's start. Good questions and info on here as always. Good Sh!t

Some good points Will! " Rule of law doesn’t mean “pick and choose” what to enforce" That's exactly what's happening and it's crap. Your point about the 4th amendment search and seizure is a highlight of that no doubt. Though, I'm not sure about the specifics of the Patriot Act. This stuff can make your head spin, no doubt. Fact is...I can only hope my rights as a citizen are being respected. That being said, I'm afraid they have and will always be infringed upon by the government. To what degree...I'll never know? Good stuff....by ALL.
Good stuff Laura! Thanks for the additional reading material hints as well. ;) I don't see what everybody's so up in arms about? You want to be safe? You want an upperhand on the bad guys? (errr...whomever that may be?) Data needs to be collected. Now, I didn't read every comment down the line, so I apologize if this is repetitive? The issue comes with what is done with the data and who uses it for what? This guy, is seems to be a distraction. Like he's creating static to drown out something else? Not sure what? Some kinda buzz, fer sure. Another thing to think about? Are politicians subject to this data collection? Is the O'man's B-berry data stream being collected? I hope the hell so! Because nobody should be exempt if the rest of us aren't? And who's looking at that chit? That's part of the problem....It all comes down to human nature. Trust, deception, Truth, Honor you get the point. Just my 2cent.

Was talking with Mike after the race, and he was telling me about the huge effort it took just getting things pushed through to get the foundation started, and getting a tax i.d. etc. Not surprising to you I'm sure. The fact that they don't his stuff squared away yet is appalling. Family's of the fallen should not have to lift a finger, if anything has happened to there loved ones? I know you've called him out on it, but evidently nothings changed. I guess that's part of your new mission now eh? Sadly, I know. Take good care BW. I saw this yesterday afternoon and was outraged and saddened that such an event even occurred. Two words came to mind. F!@#ing Animals! Kudos to the guy with the gun who made sure they didn't get away with it. Right place, right time. How he didn't shoot them is beyond me? Should dropped them both right there and saved the country the painstaking media frenzy and free publicity the animals will incite with there attack. Grrrr. Thought's and prayers going out to the soldiers family and friends.

*sitting here shaking my head* These guys put there asses on the line, and we can't even support them, pay them? I'm not even going to touch the aspect of who we are training? Uff....Our government is broken and I hope the hell that the American People, get there heads out of there asses and start making good decisions about who they want to represent them, instead of voting in the same career politicians. Looking forward to reading other's comments on this one. :)
Thanks for the insight guys. This wasn't a highly publicized event from what I gather? I think about all the pain and suffering he caused, as well as the lives that were changed by witnessing it all those horrible events. The only word that comes to mind is, Evil. Sad thing is, they are probably lining up to take his place in droves.. On the opposite side of the coin, are the Men and Women who work to fight such evil. Many of which can be found here. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, as you go about your days hunting people like this down. You can't be shown enough appreciation and respect for what you do....FACT Happy Hunting!

I may be way off the mark on this one, but I have a feeling that many readers will find this article very interesting and useful" You hit the nail on the head there man. We appreciate all of the SOFREP contributors sharing there knowledge and expertise to make us more aware and better prepared. Thank You for your service to our Great Country as well as some food for though, while we go about our daily lives trying to protect ourselves and those around us.
