@speedhunters_dino Australian yokohama site only lists down to 15's in AD08's so i assume that will be the same situation with the AD08R's.. Some people still stick with 13's and 14's but the australian tyre market seems to forgotten about them.I know it's probably a small market but sucks having to import tyres.
Too bad we won't get the smaller sizes and they will be super expensive in oz
"This is as Japanese as the scene itself, where respect is at the very core of everything. In any other country this just wouldn’t work, attitudes and arrogance would come into play and people’s hard work would be so easily dismissed"
Guard work is a bit over the top for me but still a nice car
@Mike Garrett @Sam yep in oz they are datsun 1600's but plenty of people refer to them as 510's
@sean klingelhoefer @Speed_Kiwi Yeah i got real dry lips while i was there from the cold air you need lip balm
best part would have to be meeting locals that are out there on the touge keeping it real
All i can say is more Japanese content because thats what im interested in.With the language barrier it can be hard for westerners for find any in depth content from japan theres plenty of pictures out there but not a lot of the real goings on,tuning styles, trends and where they came from, history, backgrounds on shops etc.In depth articles on how performance parts are made would be a cool thing also nostalgic japanese car tuning is a big thing I'm interested in,period correct builds, old toyotas and datsuns etc
I hate the LS swaps into Japanese cars, I love Japanese cars for what they are and love the Japanese style of tuning. An LS swap defeats the
purpose of owning a jap chassis. I guess you cant expect many people out side of Japan to understand.
MERICA fuck yeah!
@AlexanderEvensen For someone that admits their uneducated about what are reps/fakes and what's genuine you seem to be throwing your uneducated opinion around alot on the subject you admit you know little about
I can not get into this formula drift it seems so far removed from what real drifting is
@sean klingelhoefer @EmanueleMonaco
I'm glad you voice your opinions Sean,Too many people that write articles for magazines, websites etc sit on the fence and dont express there own opinons to try keep everyone happy but IMO that can make articles very boring.
I enjoyed the article because you had your own opinion of the events.
Keep doing what your doing
Good to see a bunch of older cars getting together but kinda disapointing to not see much pre 80's toyota at a retro meet
Glad to see this guy has the right attitude that seems to be lost in the US
I hope he sticks with the 86 and shows all the LS swapped cars and V8's how its done right
all i can say is this thig is a mess of $ and no style / taste in my opinion...
