@bl0ndie98 So you started when you were 7?
Let me say that in the day of the doctor cinema screening my cinema was PACKED! I never knew how many doctor who fans would be there, it was AWESOME! For the first time the entire audience had an experiance together in the cinema. We all laughed together, screamed together. What I'm trying to say is- dr who works on the big screen if whovians react together!

@MatthewPaulOsborne @MetamorphmagusWho I was thinking that maybe Deep Breath is 75 minutes and episode 12 is 60 minutes- the spare time would give the finale time to wrap up in an epic way and make up for the 45 minutes we'll be missing because of the 12 episode run. Or they could have 12 episodes, 60 minutes each. Just a thought! :)

@Mikeyboss182 And the TARDIS team being so simaler, Coal Hill School returning, an older doctor, a grumpier doctor. If you look at all the similarities with the Hartnell era its amazing! P.S Agree with you anyway- daleks so early after there previous appereance? They should give them a rest!
@Notsosmartguy that made me smile :)
In 2009- young me was told about this show that had gone on for years- then went, then came back for 4 more years. That show was doctor who! My mum and dad got series 4 up on iplayer after it had been running on bbc 3. I lapped it up! It was awesome! I remember the moment I saw a Matt Smith series 5 trailer as it wasn't David Tennant. My parents weren't whovians but they explained the concept of regeneration and i was so excited about it! I sat down to watch every episode of series 5 on Saturday nights and enjoyed so much- the ideas were amazing and the episodes were brilliant. Matt Smith soon became my favourite doctor. Then in 2011 I found this wonderful thing called dr who magazine wich I read month after month after month. Then there was series 6- I remember watching A Good Man Goes To War with my mouth wide open- then there was the wait. In that wait I lapped up filming pics from series 6 part 2 and watched every interview. Then came 2012- no doctor who for 9 months! Matt Smith was at his best and I was loving this brilliant show- enthralled in it- and then there was Doctor Who TV! I could read things written by other whovians and keep up and get excited by news of upcoming episodes. And since then I have been obsessed with this little show- loving every second of it! When the 50th anniversary came around i went back and watched the classics even more- and how brilliant are they? Yes there cheesy but they are brilliant! This year Peter Capaldi looks awesome and series 8 is set to be the best series of new who. Thank you doctor who for being awesome! :)
@TardisBoy The budget of the doctor-lite they no longer need in series 8 because of the 12 episode run could have gone into the opener.
Hmmm- seems very JTTCOTT like. But more like inside a dalek than inside the TARDIS- its a great idea BBC- please make it more than a rumour.
Wow- Thats cool
@Mikeyboss182 Theres loads of writers who were said to be developing scripts for series 8 though aren't. Anyone else hoping for a good neill gaimen script after the abomination that was Nightmare In Silver. Something akin to the Doctors Wife.
9 months ago on Series 8: Frank Cottrell Boyce Confirmed
@TheCapaldiMasterplanLets see on this one- eh? I am going to pray to the God Moffat tonight that this one is amazing. Cause they surely are planning this one to be amazing- shooting it last and all!
@Adherent How awesome would that be! There we could have a semi- doctor/companion lite episode and all the kids watching it would feel like the charactors will be way more relatable
@SteviePenny Don't get your hopes up to high- its not like the new writers have written anything good *looks at writers credits* OMG THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!
@The Mind Probe Three words- Angie and Artie
i'm bubbling with excitement for series 8- Its going to be amazing- read frank cottrell boyces books at school when i was younger.
@Malohkeh That would work actually! But I was thinking that maybe that could be after the mentioned dissapearence for a few seasons and your idea would make a great comeback
9 months ago on Are the Big Enemies Being Overused?
@ConnorEves To be honest- in TTOTD I hated the way that the daleks were made to be just another monster to fight on Trenzalore. The worst part of the episode for me is when the doctor just shoos them away like nothing in the last 10 minutes of the episode- then goes off to regenerate
@SteviePenny Just saying- all those ideas are awesome, but the best one is Toclofane in the London underground! Sadly that may not happen unless all the master rumours are true for series 8. I think the scariest way to reintroduce them would be to convert everyone in a alternate London- like the cybermen in series 2, then have them slowly come through portals in the London underground!
So this will presumably include the time of the doctor- or will that stay as the christmas release only?
