@Cadtalfryn IMHO this is the offseason. If the Dodgers have $60+ million to burn, there's no better time than the present to start. Try and grab Lee and you still have plenty to play with. It's not a banner FA year. We can find decent corner infielders and a LF for the remainder.
@KirkDavenport i would imagine they just send someone to the pen to replace "their Jamie Wright", but who knows!
Back to Lee... I say try it! Straight wavers. Impact player for at least 2 years. The Dodgers can afford it and still make major acquisitions in the offseason. Give the rookies some time in the minors in 2013 to prepare. If Lee is our #5 pitcher in 2016, and we can afford it what's the problem? Opinions?

Nice Mike! I've got a little DK goin while Im reading this. I love the SF irony. I had to drown out the bad 80s cover band playing in the park. Grill is on and waiting for cow. Wait, this is a Dodger page... Dempster out? Havent heard much about him lately. Soriano is just too much contract though. I hate to say it, but a cheap rental Hawaiian might be nice.

It is me. I love that thing too. I'm a lifetime Dodger fan, been reading for a couple years or so, just too lazy to sign up to post. The Facebook option to sign in made it easy though.
