It was another great effort in all three phases. That's the second time in row. Harvin, what a competitor. He had great effort and I'm really excited for our next match. We're in complete control of our destiny and have an opportunity to all but wrap up the entire conference in two weeks.
What a great time to be a seahawk fan.

Seattle is scary good this year. Football is crazy so there's nothing we can say for the future but I'll tell you this much. I've been enjoying the ride. So great to see the good guys doing what they do.

Wonderful win. East coast, against the team that spoiled our post season. So great being 9-1.

That's a great article. PRD is an interesting stat and certainly speaks more about the LOB then anything else. I'm excited to see the good guys play today. Hopefully the whoop em and stay healthy. Go hawks!

Great win for the good guys. I'm kinda sad that we gotta go TWO Sundays without the Hawjs but they deserve the rest and I simply can't wait to see Harvin in the mix. Go hawks!

Everyone knows how to do better on 3rd down? Do better on 2nd down. Let's avoid the untimely penalties and keep rolling. Im actually not disappointed w the loss. The boys played hard and got beat by a really good team w an incredible QB. As long as they keep getting better and healthier I'll be happy. Go hawks!

I think the refs played a minor role. Now, def there were some awful calls but that's true w every game. Start converting 3rd downs and hitting paydirt and they're really hard to stop.
Anyways, the team did well and they just came across an amazingly talented team that had a couple more plays go their way. Luck was amazing. Even when we got pressure he'd make a miracle throw. I'm proud of the boys and ready to join the crowd at the Clink.
We have the personnel for it. I hope we practice all week at 10AM and allow me to go watch a 5-0 team at the Clink in two weeks.

What an excellent game. Down in the dumps. Spark of hope. RW3 doing what he does best. Oline looked terrible, D had trouble w the 10AM start, crowd noise, or something along those lines in the first half. Oh yeah, BEAST MODE. My god... He was electric today.
Personally I think our Oline remains our biggest (and sometimes glaring) weakness. It started this way last year as the Oline had to learn how Wilson scrambles when coverage is good or protection breaks down. I feel like it's our edges that are normally getting exposed and I don't see our backs doing enough to help the line out. Now, I also think short crossing routes could alleviate that pressure a little. Tate is do talented when catching in stride. Be nice to see more of that. He's so damn dangerous in space.

Amen Matt! Now I can start dreaming bout the home opener. Time get my ear plugs and throat losanges.

Great to see our roster counted as one of the most talented when just 3 years ago we were the ones fighting for scraps! Remember the turnover, my god.
This year, to me, isn't about talent or ability or schemes... it's about a few thing.
Does RW continue his accent to being a dominate force as a QB or does he face the dreaded slump? I think there is a really strong chance that he moves in the right direction. Same head coach, o-coordinator, o-line, and mostly the same WRs (Tate, Rice, Baldwin).
Inuries, we're deep but attrition can kill a season. Nothing we can do but hold our breath.
PC. If PC doesn't go all crazy and call dumb timeouts, go for it on 4th when it's not necessary (or at lease convert them more often, my god that killed me last year)! I think this is our wild card... can PC keep it together??

Man... McGrath... Gone! That sucks. Don't know what more he could do to stay around. Hopefully he'll be on our practice squad but I'd be shocked if he made it through waivers. Damn.

Player, not Mayer.

I agree. Plus, for all the money we've thrown at rushing the passer (w relatively moderate production) it's nice to see a tenacious young guy earn his spot and hopefully make it to the top.
One guy you hadn't mentioned much about is Williams. That guy has been tremendous and appears to be a physical big man with a knack for making big plays... Like a tall Tate.
Kearse gets the nod for most improved Mayer on the roster. After last year I was ready to give up on him (obvious why my nfl coaching career hasn't taken off) but he's been great this preseason. Caught every ball in his zip code and is very smart after the catch. Unbelievably I think the Harvin signing is looking evermore like the cherry on top of a very talented and deep WR group.
By the way. McGraths beard!??! Jesus, that thing could use its own helmet.
As always, great article.
Mayowa, McGrath, and Farwell are my 3 I'm hoping we keep more than anyone.
Mayowa is interesting project but, to me, hasn't been super impressive against starting O-lines (however limited they may be) but against 2s and 3s he's been beastly. Maybe a bigger same size would help.
McGrath... What can you say. For such a hard nosed SOB its impressive to see some of the catches and YACs he's had. Really like this dude.
Farwell.... You summed it up. Special Teams superman! We have a great special teams unit and that's due, in large part, to him.
Great game against the Broncos. Man the 12th man was pumped. Couldn't believe how loud it was in the stadium. Rewatching the game at home I notice that we're still not getting any pocket pressure. If we leave good QBs back there all day were gonna get picked apart. Hopefully PC and co get this fixed.

He's a manimal, no doubt about it but last year was weird. I can recall at least 3 times where his speed and instincts led him to an easy interception but his hands failed him. I dont kknow if this was him looking downfield before securing the ball or just an abiration but I hope he gets his hands back. He's a monster.

It'll be interesting to see what shakes out w our WRs. Harvin being out certainly changes the story and Wilson coming into his second year will also change things. I'm betting that the guys who build the best chemistry w Wilson will be given a huge leg up.
I hope the passing game continues its development of last year and we get more pressure on the QB. Will be interesting to see where this all goes.
