Despite Blanco's contributions this year, I feel like the outfield combination of Torres/Blanco/Pence isn't going to be enough to keep us in contention. Blanco has been outstanding as a leadoff hitter of late, but we've seen him go through really rough spurts. I don't know if Juan Perez is the solution as a 4th OF, platoon player. I'd like to see what Gary Brown can do, but doubt he will get a shot. Kieschnick likely won't help much either. If we didn't have such glaring needs in the pen and rotation, left field would be a much greater need. I still think they might go after another 4th OF type.
