I've only had a chance to try a couple lanceros, and in general these few seemed to have more flavor than their toro or similar peers. Would love to get and share these with my buddies in the military!
For Sam - I think it would be awesome to have boxes of half Black & half White - so they can not only be smoked side-by-side, but also because a box called "Black & White" would be pretty darn cool! I'd buy a couple!
Congrats Carlos!! And I like the look of the newsletter! Looking forward to more
Alas, too late --- and such an awesome contest too!!!!
Count me in!
I've been wanting to try one of these since I first read about them - they sound awesome! Hope I'll be abel to find some soon!
I read or heard one reviewer describe a taste of cinammon bread --- likely akin to your tasting bready/doughy and nuttiness.
Interesting that these same tins are used for Kuba Kubas and at least one other DE that I can't remember right now.
I just bought one of these, lighting it up this morning with my coffee! Can't wait!!
This sounds EXACTLY like what I look for in a cigar, and a dream come true to finally be available in a Liga Privada!! PLEASE pick me!!
I just received my The Mummy cigars, and for the first time in 4 years of trying I was able to land a dress box as well! Very excited! I made the purchase as a group buy, and was able to buy 1 dress and 1 regular box. May need to pick up another box in a month or so for long term storage.
I was able to buy a 5ver of some of the Tatuaje release for 125th, but none of the others. Really would like to try these, too, but heard they may already be out. Calling again today!
I bought a pair of each of these last year. I enjoyed them, but like many cigars, I think for me a portion of that enjoyment was in the "moment". That is, as I was smoking them I was thinking about the attacks on 9/11, the selfless sacrifices of those firefighters (and other first responders), how our country came together after that, and how we have continued to work to stop terrorists globally.
So noting that this year's latest release is much better, I might have to pick up a 3- or 5-pack of each. Thanks!
Thats very cool that Quesada blended these cigars for Oktoberfest!! I wonder, do you know of if there are any other cigars that have been specifically blended for beer??
This is just plain freakin' ridiculous! ESPECIALLY knowing their country's origins and their country's high level of personal independence.
I'd like to try the Private Cellar, the Freedom and the 2003 Vintage, please.
I'm not too interested in the B-Cuz - I wasn't happy with my prior Graycliff low-end cigars' flavor - but I am looking forward to trying their Silver!
I wasn't impressed with the prior 1964 version I tried, so will likely skip this roll of the dice.
The first, and only culebra I smoked, I was very newbie ... and actually tried smoking the whole thing - all three together - as a single cigar. Obviously, draw was almost impossibly "open", and was not a good experience. Maybe I should try smoking them the right way, eh?! ;-)
From the first half of your review I thought this was going to be a top-tier cigar that I could recommend to newer cigar smokers, with a strength that they could handle. But the big change-up half-way through means they'll have to wait to experience this cigar a bit longer. Can't wait to experience it myself, though!
Sorry - did I get that double negative wrong! ;-P Point is, I gotta try some of these!
With a review like that, why wouldn't anyone NOT want to try these!!!!
