Of course, if Logan was savvy, in the 2009 draft of the $2,400,000 he eventually spent drafting three stiffs Aaron Miller, Blake Smith, and Garrett Gould, he could have used $2,000,000 on Wil Myers and tanked the other two picks (not that it could be any worse than Miller and Smith).

So can everyone quit assuming that Logan would've drafted Stanton if he didn't cost "best player available" money when in fact Adkins signed for more money?

Stanton signed with the Marlins for just $475,000, compared to Chris Withrow for $1.35 million and James fucking Adkins for $787,500. Sorry, but you can't blame Frank for that one.
