@AmyVernon  @jenzings TinEye doesn't seem to pull up any of my images - yet the Google Image search I described shows all the places the image has been used.

@jenzings  It's not perfect but you can search in google images for your pics and visually similar ones. Drag and drop a profile pic and you'll see some weird stuff. I do this a lot to find the pesky people out there who use my illustrations without crediting me as the artist!

@AmyVernon Wow, so if they'd not had a mutual friend it could have gone undetected?! SCARY!

Wow, goosebumps! WHAT on earth?! How did Amy find out?

I watched Catfish last year and that was really unsettling but not surprising about fake identities online. It's super scary how much personal information is online - I know a lot of families who's kids pictures have been stolen for a range of purposes which always reinforces our stance to keep BiP's identity as vague and limited as possible.

Interesting stats! I know Headway is a mobile friendly theme and for added measure I use WP-Touch to make sure my site is always mobile friendly - it was probably the first thing I made sure of when I first started blogging as my mommy blog was almost 60% mobile readers (baby in one arm and phone in the other!)

@ginidietrich I do have to admit that American English is difficult to understand at times. There are phrases that sound so bizarre. Oh, and let's not get into the spelling mistakes/differences.

I am wondering if it's the British accent that blinds you to the grammatical mistakes. I know it can be a saving grace when I'm over your side of the pond!

I would, it goes totally against the belief system I was born into - but life has shown me, many times, that this life we live is already predetermined, with some sliding doors - I feel that this isn't my first life, nor my last.

We encounter people and experiences - good and bad, for a reason - sometimes the reasons appear cruel, unfair and just plain wrong but sometimes we have to step away from ourselves and wear the boots of those around us to try and make sense of THIS crazy life we live in.

Great advice Erica! I logged off social media for almost a month in the summer, came back and my blogging is erratic at best as I don't have time (and I think I comment on 2-3 blogs a week!).

But, like you, I keep myself busy where the clients are; offline, on the telephone (yes, I realised that my phone could be used to speak to people as well as update facebook!) and well, there is always a party going on in my inbox because I take care of my subscribers. Always goes back to whether you are blogging for show, or blogging for dough ...

Thanks Justin for the shout out! Yes, action is when change happens. The more we consume the less likely we are to create something, flipping it around so you aren't consuming more than you create is key to making change happen.

I've never had a "summer place" to be honest - this year we couldn't decide where to go so we decided on a few mini staycations as we live in a holiday destination! And with a 2 year old travelling is more like a chore than a break! We've already indulged in a bunch of trips to the theatre festival in Avignon (puppet shows for BiP) and it's been wonderful - every afternoon is spent at the pool and well - it's life's little pleasures! Enjoy getting off the grid - look forward to seeing you when I'm back online!

Yalla :) to creativity! xoxo
