If a Blazers fan tries to rub it in your face after that Batum 3 by saying if u don't want him to score then stop him just point out since 2000 the Spurs have won 33 playoff series compared to the Blazers who've won Zero.

What gives? Does Manu Ginobili's 8 turnovers in Game 6 ring a bell? The days of him being the de-facto backup PG isn't in the best interest of the team going forward. Spurs need someone else to initiate the offense when Parker is out. If the Spurs think CJ, Nando, and Patty aren't capable at this point, then, why not look for another PG?

The same people in SA who want to play the Heat so bad remind me of those soldiers in war movies who are so amped to go to war that they crazily run onto the battlefield and instantly get killed first. Even if the Heat lose the series you're going to see about 15% of the coverage go to the Spurs and Tim while the other 85% will be about Lebron not repeating and how that hurts his legacy. As Spurs fans you'll never be satisfied with the storyline you think your team deserves.

So why not the Pacers? You think playing the Heat is a more favorable matchup?

Say if there is a 7th game are you positive the 31 year old Tony Parker will have the same stamina as the 25 year old version would? Are you confident in Danny Green's ability to be a reliable secondary ball handler and decision maker if they trap Tony at half court and force him to give the ball up? Are you a positive that Green won't disappear offensively? How many points per game did he score against Mem? They call him Icy/Hot for a reason. You don't think Kawhi will get in foul trouble when guarding Lebron for 48 minutes? Lebron now admits he'd flop to get a call. I wouldn't be surprised if Lebron plays every minute of each game. Remember Kevin Durant avg. 47 minutes a game against SA in last year's WCF and he seemed alright.

Maybe everyone is right in saying the 2013 Heat are like the 2007 Cavs. I'd like to think Ray Allen and Shane Battier won't make a crucial corner three when it really counts. I'd like to think Chris Bosh won't go off like he usually does against the Spurs. I'd also like to think D Wade is truly hobbled and is a shell of his former himself. But don't be fooled by D. Wade's play. He is notorious for coasting throughout the games. If Lebron was your teammate you would too. Hopefully, everything will turn out okay for the Spurs and they'll win number 5. But don't think playing the Miami Heat is the easier path to the title than playing the Pacers. I mean have you seen Sam Young play?

There's no shame in having bad announcers like Sean Elliott and Bill Land. It's not an indictment on the San Antonio Spurs organization. It doesn't tarnish the on court and off court accomplishments of the team you root for. Announcing is a hard job to have in broadcasting because it's always a thin line between being entertaining and/or overbearing. This is true of the most seasoned announcer and especially of former players turned analysts. Watch games on NBATV and listen to former players announce like Clyde Drexler for the Rockets, Stacey King for the Bulls, Matt Harpring for the Jazz and if you can stomach them just like you can for Sean Elliott then let us face it, you've bad taste. But having bad taste can also be correctable if you can differentiate between what good announcing is and what bad announcing is. Unfortunately, this is a harder task when over multiple years your ears have been bludgeoned by Sean Elliott's rants and Bill Land's shrills of ecstasy. "Oh MaaaaMaaaaaaa!"

TNT cut off the replay of TP's nutmeg during the broadcast. This plus Reggie Miller's awful announcing I guess it wasn't TNT's night. I think Ne-Yo is still performing right now.

I'm telling you this AllStar Game was another audition for Pop to be considered for the 2016 Olmypics Men's Basketball coach! If people like Durant, Paul, James love to play for him then Colangelo minus Stern would be hard pressed to not pick him. We already know Adam Silver is a fan of Pop. Can't believe the hoops Pop has to jump through. What a shame.
