Disconnect.me is another add-on that's open source, and not owned by a web analytics corp (not that Ghostery is inherently wrong for being owned by Evidon; I just find it weird). The really interesting thing is that when you enable something like Ghostery or Disconnect.me, how much FASTER your browser becomes, due to minimizing the back and forth communication with trackers.

It already exists, in a fashion. It's called Resy. Gary Vaynerchuk is part owner. The difference is that it works with the restaurant to sell sought after tables at sought after times.
In the traditional sense, "reservations" is a broken model. Restaurants have no guarantee that you'll show up; they can take a credit card, but it's not actually legal to charge you if you don't show up. It's why places like Next in Chicago went to a tickets model.
I'm surprised West Coast restaurants tolerate not getting a piece of the action.

I also think Hamish's (probably main) criticism of Twitter--that it's near impossible to effectively follow more than 150 people--should go on the violations list.
And yet it is my favorite and most used program.
