What a great article! I'll be racing 'cross for the first time this fall, and I'm totally amped to do so! I'll be turning 33 so I'm not a spring chicken when it comes to bike races. I agree with you 100% that we should work hard, harder and our hardest to finish, and to reach our goals. I'm not sure if they pull racers or not here in MN, guess I'll find out. I'm sure I'll feel bad, but like you said, it'll give me something to work towards, and the first time I cross the finish line without being pulled will be a huge accomplishment!
