I really don't care to argue about lebron or harden but I think harden is easily one of the most efficient scorers in the nba. Giving up a 24 top 6-10 player who was improving every year, for one year of Martin likely, lamb, and picks which this is the worst draft since I've been alive, is truly hard to fathom
Yes u want guys to get to the line who make them, but the more a player gets to the line the better as a good shooter. It improves efficiency and there is no question about that. Most sites don't say this is our metric and we are a leading industry site. But it is the best measure

It's easy to look at how many shots u take and points and determine efficiency. How that isn't obvious is insane to me
So if someone averages 27 pts on 17 shots and someone averages 27 pts on 18 shots who is more efficient

I'm not saying its unimportant. But points per shot is the way to measure it. It's the facts of literally what you're producing which true shooting percentage will affect

Look. If per shot attempt u are averaging 1.25 points, and someone else each time they shoot is averaging 1.35, who would u rather be shooting and who is more efficient. Amazing

How do u not get that getting to the free throw line a lot more is what makes people efficient. Just like jj redick is not one of the most efficient players just bc he has good percentages all around. It's as obvious as anything can be using any remote common sense that points per shot is efficiency

Wow and I'm the one that's dumb? Yes It measures your percentages which is part of it but the without question way to measure it is points per attempt like 26 points on 17 shots is better than 27 on 18.5 shots
It's all about how many points u average on how many shots. Getting to the line is usually what makes the difference. You can have a higher ts percentage and be less efficient
What are u talking about? Points per attempt is efficiency. Determining who averages more per shot attempt. Nothing dumb about it
