being able to wear a baby is essential in being an active member of a household and allows you to keep your baby close. having an extra carrier to so would be wonderful.

I just stumbled upon your blog and had to comment. We have been using two chicken tractor / hoop coops nearly identical to these for about for years. They are 8' x 16'. We don't have a tractor, so we use two hand trucks (rated to 600 lbs. each, I believe), one in front, one in back, and my husband and I move them together. We free range the chickens during the day and lock them up at night. We have learned that if you move the coop too far from where it was, the chickens have a hard time going to bed, so we expect to have to catch some chickens that night. All the girls lay in the nest boxes (milk crates zip tied to the cattle panels) and we rarely have eggs anywhere else. Hope this helps!
