Not only do we not get Kansas-but we do not even get a member of the conference when we were in it. Would have loved to had a game against even ISU in the Sprint Center. I will refrain from further negative comments.
Seriously-the House of the Dead movie was one of the worst ever. The only reason to have gotten the DVD was the George Romero interview for Land of the Dead. The sequel was even worse!

Wait me-the arrests while we (Mizzou) were in the Big XII should not count in this analysis. Come on-different standards on the issue.
That is meant as a joke. The list has several repeat offenders & I know of some names that are not on the list because it was prior to 2010 (Blaine Dalton). Really this concerns me more than a W-L. Why? Because this embarrasses your school & state. Plus, it translates into the W-L from the character of the kids.
Once again proving the point-the big xii messed up. The could have grabbed Cincinnati & Louisville at the same time to at least ease the burden. If WVU has stayed put, they might have gotten the nod over Lville for the ACC bid. Makes you wonder.

When all of this went down last year-I stated that the Big xii should have added Cincy & Lville with West Virginia. But that did not happen and now WVU will start wondering about the benefit of their decision. Wonder when the conference realignment goes the other way to schools jumping to old or brand new for the football money. Currently seeing it with basketball.
The 'fan' is a joke in the tweets. Franklin has played hurt the last two seasons. He did not take a cortisone shot-I get it. I do not doubt his toughness. He has represented my university by being a class act in all ways. Did he play well last year-not really. Maybe a year of getting back in shape. B Smitth regressed a bit his junior. Agree with bpa_kc, if you do not have the guts to say something negative to his face-say nothing.
K Bell is left off the team? Phil makes First Team? Interesting. Thought was K Bell might be a contender for SEC Player of the Year, but here he does not make top sixteen.
I watched the MU-Arkansas game from home last night and do not sit down for the first half. We are not upset that Coach A left-it how it was done. The kids that played for him, especially Bowers & Pressey, deserved to have been told in a locker room meeting. Coach A did a lot for the program and nobody is faulting him for going back to Arkansas.
Interesting article about the MU-Arkansas rivalry. And both basketball arenas are paid for by Wal-mart money.
@bradleygator WIth you COMPLETELY. As a Mizzou guy, I have had my fill of character players-Ricky Clemons. Was laughing every time he missed in Columbia. Just wish we had put that 100 on them.
@SECHog3 Counting Arkansas, Nebraska, T A&M, and Mizzou. Colorado left because they never did fit in with the Big 8. WIth MU & TA&M going to the SEC, the SEC has more AAU schools than the Big xii. Look forward to you in Columbia. You can find me at Flat Branch.

The problem is going to be the rivals that get played already that weekend. Alabama plays Auburn & LSU-Arkansas. A&M-South Carolina would be a possibility, but it would be a better watch than Texas-TCU. Or whoever they played this year.
Mr. Deloss-A lot of good Missourian died at the Alamo freeing your state from Mexican oppression giving you the right to say dumb things. We will gladly come down dig them up and bring them home.

@buddha22 @XEN610 So, like that Adam Sandler film-when Boyd says that he played at K-State, he will have meant Kansas State Pen.
And people wonder why we left? Thanks to the SEC once again for making us feel welcome and part of the family. I remember the Georgia fans at our first SEC football telling how we helped with the academic profile and were impressed with campus. The only school that wanted to be back in a conference with Texas was TCU-at least four schools have bolted from Texas and never looked back.
Curious which one got arrested? Ramirez flipping to K-State was not good. Ezekiel putting on show at the last minute is just wrong-he had no intention of flipping. Wonder what the breakdown was over the last couple of years?
I will interested to see how Charles Harris develops for Mizzou. Andy Hill said he had "that" quality. Only two years of high school football. Maybe it would work out and he will be a solid contributor.
2005 Mizzou played Arkansas State at Arrowhead. We were considered the visiting team, as it was supposed to be Arkansas State's home game. Will not be surprised if something similar happens.
