I've updated from 2.3 to 4.0.4, the phone works great. The upgrade process was quite fast (about 10min). I've not noticed extra features yet nor bugs. The icons and visual effects changed a bit, the installed application are still working.
Slightly slower on some programs (games) but nothing blocking. The phone just lost my playlists in the music application.
