Hey guys he said he was still only 15 when Bird retired, also if you read THE WHOLE ARTICLE (crazy I know), he says he gained a great appreciation for Bird. I really don't see the problem here.If I only read the comments I would think that the article was just bashing Larry Bird, but since I READ THE ARTICLE, I know that isn't what happened.

@kevingp28 He said he grew up in a small town and didn't see many black people. There is this new thing called reading you should try it, you just might learn something.
