I had a pair of these for 8th grade football...Damn, that was a long time also...!
@hozezae @Lurker111 @bfresh89 huh? lol
@bfresh89 the sad thing is if you did sole swap for the 2011 midsoles they'd probably chip and crack faster...
@Jerronimo The "medicine ball" colorway is on the Air Trainer IIIs not these...
When they released in 2008 they were $90, four years later they're $20 more and have the same or even worse quality, because you know they sure in the hell haven't gotten better. A classic shoe Nike just won't do justice to...
before y'all start trippin' out, Converse is owned by Nike.
@Jumpfan23 @Lurker111 naw, really don't care about the shoe, just had to call you out on such a contradictory post. Enjoy the shoes.
@Jumpfan23 LOL, how is it a true retro if it's not true to anything...?
Is this the reason why we haven't see any more real Air Prestos released over here in a while? The Presto are the most comfortable running I've found to date, hoping these compare. Looks wise I don't think they look as good as the original ones.
Nike continuing to use faux "vintage" that just kills what could be a great retro smh
Yes please. These are nice, ACGs are one of the few Nike labels that consistently have good quality.
@JosephChurchHernandez True be told, these have always just been a take down/swipe of the Nike Air Force III with a ankle strap added. No need to beast over these.
How is the leather and build quality on these? They look kinda suspect. I can see loose thread all over that midsole stitching on the white pair....
Let's be honest, I'm not droppin' six bills+ for a pair of shoes, much less these things, looking like you glued a waffle maker on your soles or somethin'
I'd like to see these in a mid, the lows have been OD of late
Ultimately this is an ugly shoe, looking like a pair of Crocs with some mesh to cover the airholes and a air bubble midsole. Fools will just buy into the hype.
What I remember about these...on D. Robinson they looked like normal high tops, on me they looked like ski boots.
@JerusaReem but you're still gonna buy them....
Sold both my pairs a while ago, the leather quality on these are excellent, but the whole "NL"-no liner gimmick made the shoes pretty uncomfortable to wear.
