Suddenly, we want a van.
Great coverage. I was looking to see if I could spot any Speedhunters while I was there, and I sadly didn't recognize anyone. I did happen to see a guy with a camo wrap around his big L series telephoto walking by a couple times. Now that I know it's your trademark, I'll be sure so say hi next time!
As a new person to the sport, It's incredible to see how far things have come in a decade. I had no idea Falken contributed so much early on.
@Larry Chen As long as you don't mind my adolescent Beiber-fan-esque adoration for Speedhunters Photographers.
Great coverage! I especially liked the "peek-a-boo" GIF's. Can't wait to be at Irwindale!
Unless Gymkhana.com is directly profiting off of Ken's videos without letting him in on some of the cash, we see no problem with them using the name, as Ken Block is not the creator or owner of the term or practice of "Gymkhana."
Fantastic journalistic coverage.
Great insight into the life of an amateur going pro. It seems like there is some unnecessary JR hate because it DOES appear like money and tires fall out of the sky for him - but now there's some backstory to show that he's earned it. We would love to see him back in a 240 at some point :)
Care to divulge a little bit more about your amazing photo @Larry Chen ? Were you using a full sized body? Where and how was it mounted and were you using a radio transmitter for shutter release? How many shots did you take to get this one? Must be terrifying mounting anything bigger (and more expensive) than a GoPro outside of a drift car. Fantastic coverage.
