@BobDunne @genetics73 @Say my Name @TomDundie @EHBIGAPPLE @johnAMIRANTESrug I take it all as a compliment, but what exactly IS a Group Dubber? Or, maybe, I should get offended - one gets offended so easily these days!
As it is close to dinner time, this may be appropriate:
A young couple get married; neither of them has a job, so the bride cries: what shall we live on? The groom consoles her: we'll live on love....He goes off in search of work, returns in the evening and finds his wife sitting on the radiator. What are you doing, honey, he asks. She replies: i am warming up your supper.

@Say my Name @johnAMIRANTESrug Actually, I thought "yeast infection" would be more appropriate, as in: "Why did God create yeast infection? So that a woman, too, can know how to live with an irritating c***."
All is forgiven.... LGR!!!!!!!

@johnAMIRANTESrug I would also add "assinine and jejune," but that's just me. In any case, LGR!!!!
@Say my Name Awesome!!!

@johnAMIRANTESrug @genetics73 @Hotfreak OH, NO!, Say it ain't so; say he didn't. Not he, of all people! But, thank you for the heads up.
@Hotfreak @genetics73 @johnAMIRANTESrug I could not agree more.

@johnAMIRANTESrug It's tiresome, really, to make those cheap shots. Do stop, please - it is no longer amusing.

Why are Group 3's practices shorter than those of Groups 1 and 2?
@Gorangers0525 @genetics73 The last time this has happened....right?:)

@KevinTheNYRBlog @genetics73 There there, Kevin - this too will pass:)

I agree with Gorangers0525. Why are you being so negative and sarcastic, Kevin? People make mistakes in both private and professional lives - he's owned to his. Doesn't he deserve the benefit of a doubt, or at least holding back on the putdowns?

It is fortunate that not many people saw the game. On the plus side, unlike Kevin, I have a crush on Kantor, a boychik from NY.

What about 39 as in MSL? I watched his interview, and liked the man -
he's made no excuses, apologized, expressed hope, and asked for
forgiveness. There's not much more a person can do. I wish him luck. His
motivation cannot be questioned. And the team could use a player with

@Hotfreak @genetics73 @KevinTheNYRBlog Clearly, the season has got to start ALREADY!

@Hotfreak @genetics73 @KevinTheNYRBlog Hasn't that been proven repeatedly in the past few years?
@Hotfreak @KevinTheNYRBlog @genetics73 "Hotfreak is awesome" just doesn't have the same impact as empty space:)
@KevinTheNYRBlog @genetics73 Records are made to be broken:)
I have no spelling corrections this time.:)
@AnnoyingJoe @genetics73 Oy. As always, you are living up to your nick.
@_Jack @genetics73 It was, for me:)
A little tease for Kevin: I am glad that BENOIT Pouliot is no longer with the team, so that we won't need to deal with the spelling of that pesky name.
Kevin's heart is in the right place, but I am afraid his column is the "triumph of hope over experience." Much as I wish Nash every success, it is unrealistic to expect that he will return to his former glory. I do hope he will score more, once even, but I doubt he will be a force that will put fear in the hearts of opponents. Every player goes through a phase, but given Nash's health problems, I suspect his is a career in "terminal" decline. Would that I were wrong!
As to applauding ANYONE for "being there" - this has an Alice in Wonderland quality to it: "everyone wins and everyone gets a prize." Not booing a poor performer would be the most I would be willing to do...up to a point. All this being said, I understand Kevin's intentions.

Now I know how to improve my physique - sounds simple. I will soon be applying for tryouts with the Rangers. On second thought, make it LA Kings - to sabotage their run for the Cup.

@KevinTheNYRBlog @genetics73 Thank you; also, I have been meaning to compliment you on your efforts to keep us Rangers fans educated and entertained. Much appreciated. Do continue.
Kevin, you listed 8 players of the 10 who showed up. Who were the other two?
@gravey94 Actually, "ryan" is a corruption of "myrrh," one of the gifts that the three Kings of the East were bringing, along with gold and frankincense. One could never have enough myrrh, and so it is with "ryans" - one could never have enough of them. The Rangers must always have at least one Ryan in the lineup. There - now you know:)

If Nash has had "3 puss-filled years," no wonder he has been so sluggish - too much sex will do that to ya.
psstt: the word is "then."

A little off topic, but what is the status of John Moore? Has he signed yet?
1 month ago on Conversation @ http://nyrangersblog.com/
@ObviouslyWeHadAGoodRun Just to set the record straight - global warming is caused mainly by women's menopause, so signing of Brassard will have, at best, a minimal effect.

My admiration for Dominic Moore has grown even more. I am so glad he remains a Ranger.
Yes - one never tires of seeing THAT
@Bring back Langdon @genetics73 Clearly I can always count on your class and good manners - or perhaps you are not getting the sarcasm, either. Not that it matters to me, but in a battle of wits I do not fight an unarmed opponent. Have a nice day.

@MikeBlue @Josh-CK @JMK8363 I find this idea of trading two very good young players for Eric Staal an absurdity, compounded by the wish to see Hagelin moved. And all that to replace Marc Staal with someone who is none the better - this is beyond absurd. Why not trade St Louis for Eric Staal - two aging players, past their prime, both skilled as they are.
@Bring back Langdon Duped? He offered a deal that an arbitrator could have modified. Wisely, Krieder avoided the process, showing loyalty and good sense in the process. I would not call this "being duped."
We now seem to need differential equations and probability calculus to
evaluate players' performance. Who says American educational system is

Good luck, Brad Richards.

In purely financial terms, what does "buying out" a player mean exactly? Does the player get the whole sum of money, or is it prorated? What does it do to the cap if the money is paid out? In other words, where does the "new" money come from for the team to now be able to pay for another player?
Stralman and McD were the Rangers' best defense players the entire season, and here are the "experts" who would not re-sign Stralman, Congratulations.

What a dreadful dreadful stream of consciousness Adam has indulged in.Trade several very good players for one who - regardless of his past performance - is far from being in his prime is a cockamamy idea. But, not the first time, nor the last. Thornton is NOT worth it. Better to develop what is already in place, or coming up (Kristo, Lindberg, etc.) than to trade for a - to put it bluntly - a has been. I am with Zelrio - trade Richards for Thornton - that is a deal I could appreciate.

Keep him - one of the least prepossessing, competent team players on the Rnagers. He has always been my favorite Ranger, and the Boyle Derangement Syndrome that so many on this blog have demonstrated is incomprehensible to me. Keep him.
@EquusBiz To show how dated I am - Bettman WAS booed at MSG in 1994. Good heavens - it has been TOO long.
3 months, 2 weeks ago on Conversation @ http://nyrangersblog.com/
@Bukra! For all Bettman's faults, he has made NHL profitable. This being a business, that's all that matters (notice how I plagiarized Hotfreak, shamelessly, too).
@scrangersfan If that's what you paid, then "you was robbed." The official rate has been near parity for quite some time, and currently stands at $1 US to $ 1.089 Canadian.
