I think this is a great game (I didn't know it before I played it in the ipad), but the app has a lot of things to improve. The tutorial is really bad, the screen should be zoomable, the lack of an undo button, etc. I also think the app is kind of expensive (taking into account the problems I found).

The guys from Carcassonne just released an update that comes with an expansion, traders & builders. You can buy it as an in app purchase. I think is excellent, like the app itself. It costs 1,99$

I like a lot this site because I like Apple products (iPad, iPhone, iPod) and board games, so, in my case it would be fine if you just change the name.
Of course, I understand android is growing, so, I would tell you to change the web page's name and monitor android board game developments in order to include it in a future.

I didn't like the game. It was very frustraiting. For me this is a much more simple version of Keltis (which by the way is also a Reiner Knizia design). Also, if we add the fact that this app is not universal, the price seems high.

@BlackFire1929 you can open the app store and look for Reiner Knizia, then scroll until you find it.

@Croc I would really like Alhambra on the iPad, unfortunately I haven't seen any news about the game going for the iPad

Maybe it depends on the personality, but in my case, iPad is definitively the winner. I have got a lot of boardgames and I'm always looking for someone to play with. It's hard to find people with the time to play. With the iPad you can always play either against AI or other people online.
Games are cheaper in the iPad than in real life so you can have more games in the iPad, you don't need physical space to store games in the iPad, you don't need to arm and disarm the board.
I have been introduced to some boardgames through the iPad and I don't even think of buying them in their physical version. I hope other board games I own in physical go to the iPad, as Alhambra, cities & knights (catan expansion), other expansions of carcassonne, etc...
