Solid rubber bottoms are just sooo out dated. If they'd made the black outsole and that red zig zag clear, this shoe would have stomped the Weathermans but since Nike seems to be losing sight of whats cool, Weathermans all day.
These look like some Flightposites on steroids. I can already see some really cool features which will be used to create some nice color ways. They will ofcourse put out some terrible bland color ways and these will most likely hit Nike ID BUT that doesn't mean that construction-wise this isn't a great pair of shoes. And really? Why are many of you crying about a $200 retail price? $200 has already become a standard and average for new models...Foams used to be 180, now theyre 225-235 and they still sell out....AJ 3 Retro 88 were $200 (like wtf) and everyone bought them up. This years Lebron X eLite is $280. Sh*t Kobe 8 AS were $180. Its a different time sneaker heads, so PAY UP!

@Made in the 80s I know for a fact there will be a Sneaker Con LA and DC soon, the dates are just not set yet. Sneaker Con doesn't just s**t out events like all these other wannabe events (DXC, TSXC, Pimps, etc...) When a Con happens, its always good. So before you go f***ing people have some patience and enjoy the show when it comes.

@geeman4life The guy buying the jacket might say the same about the socks. I don't think that jacket is for everyone and neither are the socks. I'd like one a little more fitted to match my Galaxy Rookies. This guy wanted it BAGGY AS F*CK like if we were back in 2001.
@MartinD44 @JohnneyDeeProvocateur They weren't fake. They were just beat (for Yeezy's) and I guess not too many people beat up they're Yeezy's so it's not something you see everyday. I just think this guy didn't care. A pair of beat Yeezy 1's might be his best pair which is sad to us but hey to each their own. For the record Sneaker News wouldn't have included them in this post if they were fugazee. You should all know better than that SMH
This would turn out to be the most successful "What The..." design after the Nike SB Dunk. The Kobe's looked good but not much came off the Kobe VII model besides the poison dart frog and cheetah prints. Not that they had much to work with anyway. The Lebrons do use inspiration from certain models like Big Bangs, Watch The Thrones, and little bits here and there. BUT THIS!!!! The KD IV had by far the coolest concepts and clearly would make up a design that is more true to the "What The..." concept. These really need to release, for the love of KD these need to release.

@Sneakerhead2320 Dudes like you are really annoying man. Nobody wants to hear you cry. IF you want the shoes so bad then take a greyhound or some ISH to wherever they're being sold and make sure you have a chance. Most of them are being raffled off (thats how they're stopping resellers) BUT REAL resellers will buy them off the idiots who win (hype resellers) and STILL get killer prices for them. Limited to 250 pairs, this is a collectable item and if you're not serious about your kick game then you don't deserve to own it. Thats the game, stop crying herb OR get a J.O.B and pay the resellers to ship it to you in the middle of NO WHERE. You must have a sneaker for a head cuz you sure don't have a brain. SMH
@Kip2MyLou You know they're going to drop exclusive color ways in only + editions. They wouldn't be Nike if they didn't. Now for some consolation, the Nike Kobe System Supreme only had 2 exclusive color ways in the Cheetah Xmas and super limited YOTD. Everything else came in the basic Kobe 7 model sooo there is hope.
AGAIN...If Nike made this shoe the Anthony Davis signature it would ridiculous for him and for the marketing of the shoe. Someone pay attention!!!
How come the one he wore in the game has a red swoosh and this one has a gold one? Does it change colors? For $300+ it better change colors, light up, and hover...
@JrSnackz Why are you hating? lol He's actually got a ton of regular Nike joints like AF1's, Carnivores, Trainers, Air Max's.....Obviously he's going to be stocked in JB stuff but who cares. It's dope to see that the man actually keeps his joints nicely.

And for your info most of these kids standing in line are resellers themselves because everybody is trying to make a buck in this economy and they're willing to put in the work. there are so many resellers and competition is so high that is why someone like me doesn't have to stand in line to get a good price on kicks. Im not taking anything away from anybody bro cuz the fact is that if somebody wants the shoe bad enough they can go stand in line early (like the resellers do) as I'm sure you know and they'll get a pair. Unless of course its a raffle or twitter reserve and Nike stores are fixing the list like with Yeezys. Im a hard working guy and I pay extra to NOT stand in line but I make sure I get a price thats under market value so my investment is worth something some day. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
But as for Shoetopia where this argument started, it isn't about the love for the kick game, its about hanging out and at least me, NOT INTERESTED. I do enough of that without the kicks. So when I go to a show I want to sell what I feel like getting rid of and use the money to cop joints I don't have. Sorry if your boy Gabriel dont like the constructive criticism. Too bad. I'll be at Sneaker Con Miami in two days because its worth the trip. Holler
@MartinD44 Actually you dont know me so you sound a little too ignorantly sure of yourself. I have an amazing job and thats why I can invest so much money into sneakers which has a higher interest and turnover rate than your savings account or even the stock market. Im a collector first, and I just flip sneakers to pay for my own elite gems letting the market do the work. Like a college kid selling bud to smoke for free. Everything I sell at an event I spend on buying sh*t I want for good deals. And the only thing that hurt my feelings was going to Shoetopia at all. Waste of time.

@Remyred06 Honestly, you're the lame. Sneaker News hasnt covered it cuz there was like 100 people total at that event and it sucked. If I want to go to a club, I go to a club. If I want to pay $15 to bring 15+ pairs of shoes with me, flip them all, and make BANK throughout the day......ummmm I go to Sneaker Con. Its the stock market for kicks. If you want to hang out sippin mimosas talking to dudes about kicks then go to Shoetopia or any of these other stupid sneaker shows. Im in this game to make money and I've been to over 10 Sneaker Cons and done just that. Keep sippin Remyred and blowing dudes cuz they have heat on their feet. (Voice of God)
