I've followed your build since Halloween 2014, with much admiration I hope to gain the same recognition with my g35 sedan, your a tough act to follow so Ima need a little more time.

@Skirmish You ready these are my favorite cars hands down, all 4 door drift cars I covet, So 1jz never came to the states it came in the earlier chasers, cresta, mark II, or the toyota soarer chasis codes jzx81, jzx90, jzx100 jzx110. Verossa=jzx110 newest model. The US equivalent would be the mx83 or Toyota cressida. My favorite by far. The 2jz came in the supra and aristo, or chasis code um jzs147 and jzs161 and jza80....... And now the 2jz was shipped to US w/more power and manual tranny in the supra variant only, expensive as the export models would have your 6speed attached to it, the v160 and the 1jz had the r154. Thats about what I remember without leaving the page and deleting my comment. 1jz sounds better than the 2jz and its underrated as well overshadowed by its bigger brother and its torque. I think if I had the money though I would be unique and make a 1.5jz large single turbo in a cressida. So there you have it and yea flamers im sure I missed something too feel free to chime in and Yo skirmish you gotta get out more brotha read more, how would you not know what cars those engines came unless your a young guy. The same engine smoked that ferrari in the 1rst Fast and Furious, Oh yea and Daigo Saito is pushing in the area of 1200hp with nos bro. I got a Memory like a elephant.
@Car Guy 1985 Now who might of said that I remember reading that article its very bias tho for him to make comment like that in a magazine being he is a jdm tuner, or claimed to be. He definitely know his stuff, though, but you can give me the 2jz over the ls1 all day long its my personal preference, makes things more challenging instead of trying to level the drifting field.
@Gvk Orido's a very good and accomplished driver and all but he's bit overrated when it comes to drifting, even though he has the best drift cars most of the time on the grid.

Been watching Daigo Saito for along time now, since 2003+2004 his progression and driving and style has always been a eye catcher for me. Congrats on the win, giving credit were credit is due. Ive been hooked to 4 door drift cars since day one! Glad to see the Gush pushing a chaser as well, another fav of mine. It kinda sucks the US doesnt have more cars like it (4doordriftercars)! Saito's gonna be up there at the top for long time too.
Cant wait to see it! I think alot of people will change their minds once they hear the engine, glad to hear its staying turbo. Yea the LS7 is good and all but FRANKLY, I I'm like sure many others are tired of hearing the same sounding engine drifting past us. Only 645hp leaves alot of room to increase the power later as well too. I think the livery should be louder, black wheels drifting=NO GO, It doesn't allow the spectators to really see the angle as opposed to bright wheels. Still, Top Drift Car honors are possibly due from what I can see so far.
Im diggen the 2jz route keep it turbo!. Its the best sounding engine on the planet aside is little brother the 1jz. I see alot of people flamming it, not realizing that the 2jz was a engine way ahead of its time. Creating and developing parts are best suited for company's that specialize in that like Trust that takes money. Im just waiten for the Rear entry's with the 2jz on the rev limiter! NASTY. Cant wait to see it.
