@arsinek Sorry, I don't mean to be a dick. Where I live, there are dirt ovals and drag strips everywhere. I would love to visit a real track, but the middle of America couldn't give a shit. I guess I'm just bitter.
I'll keep dreaming of the Nürburgring.
@richATTK I think it has been growing up. Compared to last year, it was much more professional; the commentator did better and seemed more knowledgeable, but was still more entertaining than typical commentators. I agree with everything else you said, though. FD still feels like it's in its infancy, even though it's 10 years old now. It's getting there; just not fast enough for some.
@Other Will I'm 19, and I have no idea why anyone would consider dressing this way.
What a vague question. Picking "the best" could mean many different things. I know it's really not important, but I'm not what I'm supposed to vote for. The one that had the biggest impact on the popularity of the layout? Which one is the most fun to drive? Which one would I buy given the opportunity?
Please stop sullying the Napier-Railton with "steampunk."
The entire video I was thinking: "oh, cool! What does the other side look like?" I never found out. There's a tiny glimpse as the camera's panning at about 2:22. There was more footage of a can of paint, and some random children than an entire side of the car.
I'm on my way to becoming a pharmacist so that I can build cars like this as a hobby. The connections I just made with this article are really freaking me out.
I like everything but the paint. I can respect the effort that has gone into it, and if I met the guys behind it, I would tell them they did a great job; but that damn paint is just so far outside my personal taste. I've never liked chrome (except on classic cars).
I've seriously considered building a truck like this, but I read (a lot) that the weight distribution makes it nearly impossible to drift well.
