Bob Nightengale is awful, but on tv he has to be the creepiest baseball writer ever!

Has there been any new news on a Kershaw extension? It will be awesome if they announced both at the same press conference.
6 days, 1 hour ago on Hanley Ramirez Extension Could Happen Soon
Do players take physicals on the weekend, or do they wait till Monday? That would make sense for flying to LA right?
6 days, 2 hours ago on Hanley Ramirez Extension Could Happen Soon
I think they definitely need to extend him. He would get a monster free agent deal.
1 week, 6 days ago on Drew Butera & Scott Elbert: Tendered
In a perfect world definitely. I just don't think he would take only 3 years.
What do you think a Ramirez extension looks like? 5/120?
That's not how it is counted against the luxury tax though. Doesn't give breaks for bonuses.
2 weeks, 2 days ago on 2013 Dodgers in Review #25: SP Matt Magill
Yes but that's not true salary. That's not the way it is calculated against the luxury tax.
He's definitely not signed for 3 mill a year.
@InsideThePark (empty stadium) I see it now, sorry do duplicate it.
3 weeks, 3 days ago on 2013 Dodgers in Review #19: CF Andre Ethier
I didn't see this discussed yet, Bowden new today. One deal for every NL team.
Los Angeles Dodgers
The move: Trade outfielder Andre Ethier,
Ross Stripling, Matt McGill and cash (approximately $9 million over
four years to bring the average annual value of Ethier's contract down
to $15M per season) to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for right-handed pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma.
Why: The Mariners are in desperate need of offense,
and Ethier, 31, brings a consistent .360 on-base percentage with an
average of 20 home runs per season. Stripling should develop into a
solid No. 3 starter who should be ready by the All-Star break. In
return, the Dodgers would get another top-of-the-rotation starter to go
with Kershaw, Zack Greinke and Hyun-Jin Ryu without having to unload top prospects like Joc Pederson, Zach Lee or Corey Seager.
This deal would leave the Dodgers with an outfield of Yasiel Puig in
right, Matt Kemp in center, Carl Crawford in left and top prospect
Pederson ready in Triple-A when there is an injury. Iwakuma, 32, is
signed for $6.5 million in 2014, with a team option of $7 million in
2-5 with a skunk was last night.
1 month ago on The Dodgers Will Trade An Outfielder, Unless They Don’t
Found it. Looks like he went 1-5 with a single
And 2 strikeouts.
Can't get the site to load. Anyone know how Guerrero is doing tonight?
What about someone like Manny Acta as a bench coach for Mattingly. If he misses out on the other openings out there.
1 month, 3 weeks ago on The Circus Continues: So Long, Trey Hillman
Has this already been discussed?
One assistant GM proposes that the Rays could trade David Price to the Dodgers for Corey Seager, Joc Pederson, Julio Urias and Chris Withrow, Peter Gammons writes. That would give the Rays two very good hitting prospects in Seager and Pederson, a very young arm in Urias, and a big-league reliever in Withrow. MLB.com ranks Pederson and Seager the top two prospects in the Dodgers system, with Urias at No. 4.

What about Tony Gwynn Jr.? No bat, but one hell of a center fielder.
2 months, 1 week ago on Wanted: A Center Fielder for the Playoffs
Why is Buss starting again instead of Van Slyke? Seems odd.
2 months, 3 weeks ago on The Return of Matt Kemp?
True, but what I was saying was what if we could get
Him at 3/50. No matter if its possible or not.
It was just a thought. I'd be very interested at that
Price. Not saying there's a chance. Just
3 months ago on D’Backs @ Dodgers September 11, 2013: Onelki!
Because he is what 6 years older at time of deal?
