@Lobo(Middling Member of Trade Ethier Bandwagon) @Cecil Terwilliger What is that monstrosity of a Pokemon?
@JohnM (Ned Colletti Apologist... lol jk) @LakerDodger24 @Weston Taylor (What is ISO?) His basketball insight is pretty good. It's the other stuff that's extremely annoying. And he says too much of the other stuff.
@JohnM (Ned Colletti Apologist... lol jk) @LakerDodger24 @Weston Taylor (What is ISO?) Idiotic stuff he says on the air. Good coach, though.
@JohnM (Ned Colletti Apologist... lol jk) @LakerDodger24 @Weston Taylor (What is ISO?) I really don't like Jeff, but major props to him for leading the 99' 8th seed Knicks to the Finals.
@Weston Taylor (What is ISO?) @LakerDodger24 @PagansOedipalComplex @FNC(FYCQ) Honestly, Kobe gets hacked and mauled a ton on his way to the rim, doesn't get called any where near as much as LBJ or Kevin Durant. This is especially true with centers as Shaq used to get fouled on nearly every play (same with Howard).
@Weston Taylor (What is ISO?) @JohnM (Ned Colletti Apologist... lol jk) We talking Stan "Ron Jeremy" Van Gundy? Or Jeff "the other" Van Gundy?
@PagansOedipalComplex @FNC(FYCQ) LeBron pushes off a lot. It's not usually called.
@Weston Taylor (What is ISO?) 2 possessions without Hibbert. 2 easy lay ups for LeBron. #FireVogel
@FNC(FYCQ) Frank Vogel fucked up so badly.
@EephusBlue Thanks for the article title Eephus.
@LA_Woman @LakerDodger24 @IBBFTW From what I know, Magic and Bird are very good friends. Anything can happen and I would be honored to have Bird as a Laker GM. He's smart, saavy, and he trusts his scouts when it comes to drafting.
@DeucesWild @Shadow Commish @Lobo @HiiiiEVERYBODY (HiiiiEVERYBODY) Any man that can have a meat tornardo monstrosity of a sandwich named after him is a National Treasure.
@HiiiiEVERYBODY (HiiiiEVERYBODY) I love that it makes almost no sense.
@LA_Woman @LakerDodger24 @IBBFTW I did really enjoy watching him shoot the ball though. Still one of the greatest shooters of all time.
I believe Klay Thompson being drafted by the Warriors was West's first move. Then the genius move to trade Monta Ellis for Andrew Bogut to make room for the Steph Curry show. Jerry West is as fantastic a GM as he was a player.
There is one name that would immediately help the Lakers. Arch Rival of Magic Johnson: Larry Bird. First, he coached the Pacers to their first Finals' appearance in 2000 (The Lakers crushed them, of course). This current Pacer squad is Bird built and it's a fantastic team being built through smaller trades for guys like George Hill, under the radar FA signings for guys like David West, and plain old good drafting for guys like Roy Hibbert and Paul George. He stepped down as GM after last years loss to Miami. I know it would be blasphemy for many Lakers fans, but he is an excellent GM.
@(VND) @Lobo @ThtsaPaddlin @JohnM (MSTI Elitist/Hipster) @silver_linings_paul_(book) Psshh. I'll go old school, simply repeating his first name until a tear rolls down his face. Theodore. Theodore. Theodore.
@IBBFTW I don't think West is available, having just joined the Warriors two years ago. I would absolutely love PJ as Coach, part owner and GM. Kupchak reminds me a lot of Ned from last year: Some great decisions mixed in with some really boneheaded ones. Getting Dwight and Nash was a stroke of genius, but getting D'Antoni was just awful.
