If you think 42 is addressing a small market then you're making the wrong assumptions. Although they might be 'first' targeting tech/startups the you're only looking at the part of the iceberg above the water surface. Commercial real estate is a huge market and they're bringing a new approach to discovery and servicing that can essentially serve all of commercial real estate. For example, you're a company based in NYC and you need to open a SF branch, this is an easy, low cost way to look for spaces and bypassing brokers and agents. They're def onto something.

Hamish - if you are still in Seoul, you might want to talk to the folks at Co-Up too. Its a shared space (similar to the Hacker Dojo) and last time I was there they seemed to have a few interesting things there.
