@DooDooBrooks it's not Prestis fault....Harden wanted to b a starter and OKC couldn't afford 2 keep him for a max contract in 3 years it would cost OKC $30+ million in penalties
@DooDooBrooks you are basing your comment off of 2 games in which harden has played against 2 bad teams....u sir r a genius....SMH
@DooDooBrooks @SilenceTheLambs wouldn't go that far yet
@Tronchaser yea I heard that ....thats nuts
@EternalThunder if he works out and becomes a solid center than Presti is a genius for getting him at a steal
Thabeet is not a bad player he just got on bad teams that didn't give him structure when OKC aquired him I knew the coaching staff would work with him and bring out his best...b4 he was normally the last guy to show up 4 practice and the 1st to leave by all acounts ever since he got on the squad he's been one of the 1st to show and one of the last to leave...to me that shows commitment
people have to remember K-Mart was the only scoring option on bad teams the last 3-4 years he didn't have a Westbrook,Gasol,Wade Parker ect...so guys like that will get injured...now he's a starter who his coming off the bench and playing against other teams 2nd units which in the long run will make him even better and more of a threat and you add him with the potential of PJlll and Lamb and OKC might have the deepest bench ever...but only time will tell
ever since the trade I said OKC would be fine if not better and that LAL would be a little better but not much so them starting 0-3...shocked
also the amnesty clause is good for 1 time only during the entire new CBA deal which means if OKC does a bad contract deal 5 years from now then 2 years later want to use it on that player they can
Thabeet makes good sense,low risk high reward I think being with a team with one of if not the highest work ethics in the league will be good for him.You also have to remember Thabeet didn't start playing Bball until he was 15,also Nazr's contract is up so that frees 3.75 milion up and according to what I've seen and heard OKC can get Thabeet at a steal for 850,000 a year which I see is a good trade off also if they can get him to be productive(BIG IF) then they could also amnesty Perkins and clear even more cap space ,if he doesn't then they would't be losing anything.
