@MichaelMeador Go to Google Market download app called "Restore Connectivity". Its for Verizon from Motorola, and it will fix your issue too. Also see my newest post for other tips too. Good Luck
If you hold down the "home" button a list of recent apps pop up on the left. Some maybe running, and if you swipe left or right on each app listed. It will end the app if running, and free up memory & battery life plus increase performance too.
Hope this helps!!!
@courtney16 Restart you're phone (hold Power & Volume Down Buttons at the same time. Hold until screen goes turns off. Then release buttons)
After restart, try checking for update again.
I'm a little disappointed with the new update! Much slower response time, and dies much quicker now.
There is no "task manager" which was really helpful in killing apps not in use. Even on wifi it still slow on loading web pages or Google Market. The only thing that I am satisfied with so far is the "screen shot" feature! No need to root phone and download an app. All you need to do is HOLD DOWN power button & volume down at the same time for a sec. You see screen flash, and a shutter sound.
I'm going to restore it back to factory, see it this improves OS performance.
