I believe there are a lot of women or younger girls who are interested in cars or the automotive culture. But maybe there is a psychological barrier most of them have to break trough. When I look around my own environment I notice most girls don't talk about it, but keep staring at a picture or a car passing by. So it looks they are interested, but it doesn't come up in a conversation.

Maybe it's because of the difference when growing up. Girls get a lot of girly toys like Barbie or even make-up these days. That won't trigger their automotive interests. I don't have a solid explanation for it, but that's why I think most of the people in the industry are men. Which is a shame, because women and girls who are into cars make a welcome change in the scene in my opinion.

To be honest, I don't like it. 18 inch is way to big for a F1 car, it doesn't look right. They say it will improve road tires, but how expensive are those going to be? I'm sceptical about it.

I think horsepower is the most usefull at de bankings of Irwindale and Seattle, just as Conrad said. For the other tracks you need to have grip. It sounds cool when everybody has a 1000 ponys under the hood, but that won't bring you the championship...

Restrictors are good, it's pushes the teams to innovate for many horsepowers. But then privateers will be out of the game because it will become a money game.

The ismart E30 Wagon and the XJ are the two best in this post if you ask me. No demon camber, just tastfully adjusted while maintaining the awesome stanced look. The Jag looks like a maffia car, yet there is English classyness.

Great location! Downloaded a lot, and I mean a lót, of new backgrounds. The 300SL is fantasic to look at. I agree on the steering wheel of the SLS, it looks cheap for a car of a couple grand.

Why would you do an engine swap when the enginebay looks this clean already? Obviously for more power, but it's not what I would do. I'm looking forward to the new paint, the body is good as it's right now!

I use Google Chrome and on top of the page there is a massive white block after loading the site (while the store page just loads normally). I have to scroll down to see the site, which I quite like by the way. Especially that all photo's are desktops now! It looks very clean and new. My parents use Internet Explorer on their laptop and they don't have this problem, maybe it's something with the browser? Keep up the good work!

Selling the large prints is an great way to expand Speedhunters to the people that aren't familiar with it yet. When you see a photograph hanging on a wall by friends, it gets your attention. I would had buyed one if I was there, what a shame I wasn't. Maybe an idea for other events as well?

If they make a Supra or Celica/MR2, I hope they are drivers cars, just like the GT86. Not to much gadgets, that makes it to expensive. And they have to look good!

I hope Kimi won't join RBR, Lotus is a good team, so why change? The person who takes Webbers his seat will be the #2 driver at RBR, no question. Vettel is one of the best drivers on the grid in this car. Don't expect that they put him as the second driver.

What a car! Clean exterior with a beautiful interior. With the painted small bumpers and the black logo it's a goodlooking Jetta. Add the classic BBS and you got yourself a beauty! I like the BBS rims, some call it lame, I think on almost every old VW it looks good. The interior is a place I could spend hundreds of hours while driving. Maybe the car doesn't have sport car performance, but it's about the looks. When you pass a large window and see the reflection. That's something I could get used to. And then, when you're at your destination you step out of the car. But just before you walk inside you turn around and look at this thing.

About the budget bags, the satisfaction when you get it right has te be a great feeling.

Good article, both writing and photo's!

@GeraRodriguez Kimi closed the door, but Perez still went for it. That's why he was upset. He went for a gap that wasn't there anymore which evolved into Perez crashing into Kimi his car.

1 year, 6 months ago on DISCUSSION: PEREZ - HERO OR VILLAIN?

It's good to see a young driver trying, but somethimes he was too far away. He would never make it. It's better to wait another lap when you have a better drive out of the corner and make sure you're next to the car in front of you.

When he hit Kimi he was still behind him when he made the move. That was after Kimi had closed the door already, so there was no chance he could overtake him at that moment. Yet, he decided to make the move even when there was no room. That was a mistake.

For the rest, good racing. At Monaco you have to take chances if you want to overtake. Everybody knows that and should remind that when he makes these moves.
