@nirvanaaic92 @Pensblog @fritowill He sounds all kinds of jammed up.
Also fitting that Voracek be the villain. Only a hideous, life-changing accident could explain how ugly that mans face really is. Kind of like Harvey Two-face, minus actually being attractive once.
@Jovi @MyTailFin I'll gladly take the Free Candy if it means him getting his shit together for next game.
I love Brooksy, but he played like shit tonight. Seemed really out of his element all game.
Hearing that Karlsson had his Achilles cut makes me think of that cringing scene near the beginning of Kill Bill Vol. 1. "My name's Buck..."
Sorry guys, I didn't read the new penalty provisions given by the new CBA. Apparently if you take 3 cheap shot punches to the face, then you get kicked out the game. Because, you know: You're a pussy for not fighting back. Clearly makes sense.
@mahstahI'm thinking about starting a charity for the health bills of goalies whose chests have just be decimated by TK. Taking donations now.
Neal with it.
@mahstah @MyTailFin True. Maybe the with Cooke's history of foul play, I instantly assumed the worst. He's been pretty good about not doing stupid shit any more. Still though, I miss when he had the ability to crawl under opposing team's skin.
@mahstah @MyTailFin It looked like he was going for it, then lost his balance and jammed him up into the boards. Ironically, his slip up probably hurt Karlsson more than the potential Slewfoot could have.
@akus @MyTailFin I don't even care to see DJ on the 2nd line. He needs to be out there somehow. Even on the 4th line. He'd become much more of a grinder and PK style player by being there, but still. He has more offensive fire power and ability to set up opportunities than basically all of the entire 4th line combined.
Am I out of line in wanting Bylsma to scratch Tanner Glass and throw Dustin Jeffrey back in there? DJ looked like he was getting into a decent stride with Malkin-Neal when he played here a few games back. I think it's a complete waste to have a player like DJ and leave him on the bench.
@Jovi @MyTailFin I don't know why they ever took TK off the third line in the first place. He obviously didn't work with Malkin-Neal, so then why not drop him back to the 3rd line? Nope, instead they decide to throw him on the 4th line and knock that off balance too. In my opinion, our 1st, 3rd, and 4th lines were pretty solid before. It's just sad watching Byslma slowly melt down all the good combinations so that they can find a single guy to playon that 2nd line.
Why does Dustin Jeffrey always get the shaft when things need changed up. He's the proverbial "We need to try something new, so let's scratch him again." Finally playing pretty well and getting into a flow with Malkin-Neal. Actually didn't vomit on himself anytime he got the puck and was able to set up passes to both guys. Beyond confused. I understand wanting to try Boychuk, but at least throw DJ on the third line and scratch Tanner Glass.
Byslma better throw his weight around this intermission. He needs to get his players to refocus. You're pissed off, you fight, we get it. That's over now. Reality sets in and we're down by 2. We can do this, but the Pens need to focus on the goals now, not the frustration,
@PresidentJLH @RentedMule @HatePanda I couldn't have said it better. You game at a time, but as a Pens fan, don't you dare ever say that you are afraid of the Flyers.
@RentedMule @HatePanda We need confidence for this series though. Although cockiness is a fine line to tread, I appreciate this feeling of confidence for the team by HatePanda. All Pens fans need to have this healthy balance of overall confidence and realization of humility (as presented tonight).
@PresidentJLH I assume you support the Penguins name though, be it that you are posting on this. No matter where you are from, during this series, and (with confidence I say) until we reach the cup, you are Pittsburgh. Although Pittsburgh by geography has a limitation, you have proven that by fandom, it has no limits.
@PresidentJLH Indeed, no Loss will ever be good. Let us all join together, not as a mere basis of fans, but as a family of Pens Fans, who show the Flyers why they should regret every having cockiness is our stadium and our city. This is OUR town.
