As soon as they bring it to Miami (hopefully they will), I'll be surfing on Google Fiber like nobody's business. It's kinda sad that I always believe that 5-7 Mbps down is really really fast.. most likely because I'm currently downloading at 3 Mbps.
Nexus 4 owner... 3 days after getting the phone, I received my case. Put it on there, and a few minutes later, I heard the gun shot...err... impact noise heard around the world. Turned around to find my Nexus 4 laying on the floor.. It turned off. Tried to turn it on, but failed. I started thinking of warranty papers and stuff. Plugged it in the charger, turned on. Without that case, my phone would've been shattered and I would die...literally.
I had my Nexus 4 for about 2 months now, and I was really excited when I got to set up Google Wallet... never used though. It wasn't until about a week ago that I realized my monthly bus passes were in fact NFC tags and I could use them on my phone. I got so excited and now I have about 5 expired bus passes that I use for NFC on my phone. I can set each one up with NFC task launcher and tape them somewhere.
I was waiting for the day Crapple was finally gonna get sued for that notification center.
Wait... I've been using my iPod touch for quite a bit and I'm not slow or anything, but iOS has a blue, bounce effect? And why would a blue bounce effect change my mind about getting an iPhone or a Samsung phone? I would've never realize it anyways
@MatteoRodrigo Depends on at&t's plans... I use gophone (with my captivate and my potential nexus 4, of course) and the charge is $25 talk with unlimited text. Not much of a data guy; besides, free hotspots are nearly everywhere.
Is the Cappy Glide better than the original Captivate? It is better, isn't it? Not that I need the update for my cappy, though... Using Jelly Bean on it right now actually.
If the notification area only reaches the last notification, then yeah, I don't like it. However, it looks like it stops at the line that separates the dock from the "desktop", as the weather notification is cut off midway. I still don't really like it like that, but it looks like something that I can get used to, compared to it stopping at the last notification.
You have to clear all stored data for the website (in this case, Google) and you will get the new redesign. try searching something and it'll show you a different interface. Clear the cache and cookies and all that stuff and you should get the new page.
I yearn for the day when everyone will realize that the rotten apple should be at best ignored and never purchase one of those products again.... because in each of their products lies a sick and twisted, not to forget manipulated patent, if not two.
Lol... Harder, better, faster, stronger indeed
I see Apple is playing all kinds of dirty tricks now just to get themselves awarded #1. Why on earth would the patent office grant this to Apple? This was on devices for years, and Android has that too. Sometimes I wonder why Android don't just move away from their open source status; I won't mind, and so wont some others.
I was an Apple fan for years until they started suing Samsung and others for pointless cases. I only have one Apple product that I own, and that's an iPod. I will never try to do anything ever again to try to satisfy Apple unless they don't stop acting. Seriously.
I know this is gonna sound so gross, but I wouldn't be surprised if people started taking their own "stuff" for free Wi-Fi
I so want to buy one right now... Too bad I bought a Captivate just under 2 months ago with my savings..If only I had been patient.
Facebook email... I completely forgot that Facebook had an email system. I doubt anyone uses it...I never activated mine.
I think Jabra should sue them
Well, about time I start using that savings account
Apple is going way overboard. They want to remain the only phone company in the US. I am never buying an Apple mobile device...never.
