Thank you for saying what needed to be said.
I solved the problem by moving out of SF. I do miss it, but I don't miss the BS with Muni.
First off - big fan of Pando, first time poster, long time reader.
I had used Basecamp in the past for projects, new software kick offs, etc. I found it frustrating and a bit clunky. I also hated how I have multiple logins for different projects, what was that user name again? What was the PW? All in all, I avoided Basecamp at all costs and hoped the project would be discussed on the next conference call so I could get my updates.
Once I started my own business I needed a place where I could manage all my clients in one place and maintain my sanity, enter Teambox. I found the UI flawless, beautiful in fact. Teambox is intuitive, seamless and truly easy to navigate. Plus the functionality of Teambox blows any comprable solution out the door. Favorite features - Dropbox integration, Group Chat(!!!), Time Tracker.
As for Asa, I found that they were more task focused. Call client, send email, do invoices etc.
What I like about Teambox is that I can track the projects from start to finish, track billable hours(!!!!) and I feel like I have a more hand-on approach to my business and my client relationships.
