Don't worry, you guys. I've already fandango'd ALL the tickets so we can go see this LIKE A FAMILY.
@OBoymuzik I wanted to slap him. Are people seriously still talking about whether or not Westbrook will want to stay in OKC? Which people? Are they alright? I'm worried about those people, you guys.
@justin_mia Exactly, except that in the Olympics, all the players on Team USA are actually American citizens, as opposed to the Thunder players, who are all represent OKC by proxy.
@duhsweetness (speaking in the smallest, most embarrassed voice possible)...rams...
@MisterJohnsonOKC Thank you. Big men, in general, need structure to be effective. Summer league hardly provides that. It's simply too early to say about Cole's effectiveness.
@DavidMN That's true., I suppose. Icertainly didn't mean any sort of offense ("garbage" was a garbage choice of words). Can we be Twin Cities Thunder Friends?
@duhsweetness I just moved from Oklahoma to Minneapolis and am only a ten minute bike ride from the Target Center. I'm pretty excited to exploit my sister's work connections for tickets whenever the Thunder come to town. (I was able to do it when the Wolves played in OKC, but I was a three hour car ride away, so yeah, my new basketball situation is better. Although, the MN crowd is garbage compared to the crowd at the Peake.)
@diddoff be still my heart. (get it? you get it. I'm the worst at making jokes and you definitely get it.)
@OBoymuzik @duhsweetness uggh... I just donna darko'd myself. forgive me.
@OBoymuzik @duhsweetness Who is this "NJN" of which you speak?
@Jooseppi @Lost Ones also this http://blog.blacklotus9.com/blog/2011/04/26/first-look-nike-air-max-flight-11-russell-westbrook-player-edition/
Gosh, twitter is really changing the way i react to trades. Before it was just out of sight, out of mind for anyone who left my team. Now, I feel like I have to unfollow them, but that just seems way too...active.
@Tronchaser Hence, my doubt to whether or not any information was withheld from all concerned persons.
If the Thunder medical staff withheld information (and I'm far from convinced of this), Uncle Jeff is the one deserving compensation, not the Boston Celtics. The Celtics received everything agreed to in the deal with OKC: Kristic and Green's expiring contract. Boston chose, of their own volition, to resign Green, apparently before conducting a physical. That is, quite simply, poor team management and the league should not bail them out in any way, least of all at the expense of the Thunder. The Boston Celtics do not deserve an extra pick nor do they deserve any sympathy. However, I would reiterate that if information was withheld from Jeff Green that place his life at risk, there is no end to the restitution due him personally.
