@vickie c Ha! The funny thing is, I met most of them eating... at Thai restaurants! Except for Minky, I met her at a Japanese restaurant.
@russkar I miss Nanz at Taste too! Maybe we can convince her to start it up again!
@Myong I actually went last night for dinner and it was pretty darn good! Had to check it out if 2/5 recommended it!
@Myong Or @Melissa808 could drive over to Mililani for some excellent Thai food at Rajanee Thai!

I am a member at Nuuanu and it is fantastic! The staff is friendly, the facilities are clean, they have racquetball courts, love it!
@Myong The soft opening was well-attended by Japanese nationals and tourists (I think the name of the brand will attract tourists, expats and nationals living here- kind of like Little Sheep).
The aspect of it being a fun and lively atmosphere and large beers might be a good attraction for a younger clientele looking for a guy's/girl's night out.

100 piece gyoza at Sanoya! Eh, next time we're out late, I'll take you to Miki's for some good late night eats.
@nonstopmari I have! The patty isn't anything special which is probably why I don't find myself compelled to order it often.

@kyleepuu Liliha's one makes top 10 for sure. Top 5... not quite.
@noahtom Ohh! I remember Cafe 100 from back in the day. Haven't been back to Hilo since 2004. Good loco moco for sure!
@trdtaco They are planning to vastly expand the beer selection over time! I'm hoping for craft beers too!

Koko Crater is pretty intense especially when the sun is out. Really gets the heart rate up and I always end up sweating buckets! Worth the beautiful sunrise in the early mornings for sure.

@Melissa808 @MyongChoi I agree with Myong on Char Hung Sut being overrated. I always end up with a pile of bun that I end up throwing away. I'm a big fan of Aiea Manapua and Snacks (not my #1) but definitely one of my top 5.

@trdtaco Hawaiian style with limu is my go-to everywhere I get poke, theirs was really good. Good flavor and good with a ton of rice. The ahi bones and ahi katsu are winners too!

@vickie c China has a lot of problems in the public health sector- I've watched these guys work and they are very conscious about their sanitary standards. They have a green placard and they use gloves. Kekaulike Marketplace where they're located is air conditioned, a rarity in our Chinatown.
Go take a look at if it doesn't feel right, you can always go somewhere else.
Ace and Gary are definitely the top for me. Such ridiculous animation and writing. I also like the "Cork Soakers" sketch and Celebrity Jeopardy.

@CAPSUN My Sonata is fun to drive and gets great mileage. Super reliable thus far (2 years) and the 13,000 miles/year that I put on my cars is a good gauge ^_^
I have a Sonata and it's reliable and has good gas mileage for how much I come in and out of town. Getting the nicer features are a must considering how much time we both spend in our cars.
