@GrantBarrett Grant... thanks for saying all this so clearly. Pagelines leave me utterly confused and feeling badly used as a customer. I don't know if the fault is REALLY with the go-to-market strategy with 2.2, or just the communication around it. But I suspect both you and I are just the start of waves of hacked off users... They seem to have overlooked that we can't just fire off invoices to customers everytime they think of a new wdiget to charge us for.

You guys have totally confused me. I spent loads of money about 3 months ago on Pagelines Pro Dev edition 2.1, and now you want loads more plus a subscription??? That doesn't really play very well with me, and it cetainly won't play well with my clients. I just upgraded a site to 2.2. It was mayhem. I restored the back up to the old version within 20 minutes. Who do you think is going to pay me for all the mopping up that's needed to fix a site that was workiing yesterday - upgraded today - stops working? When I upgrade WordPress it uually works better. Even Adobe don't charge for upgrades after the decimal point!!!!
