I was a hopeful and naive young adult in the late 70s. Title IX, equal pay for equal work, ratification of the 19th amendment were all great ideas. Title IX has been the most successful of the three, but still has some way to go. So, to grocerystorebar, it's not just the Europeans that need to wise up.
I'm still hopeful, yet not so naive.

I miss the camaraderie, seeing all of my friends from around the region and cheering for those racing. Roadies are too intense. Mountain bike races are fun but all run at same time so can't cheer for others. I will be ready for October when it arrives
