@arpowers - Congratulations and well done Andrew. Even more incentive for me to move back to the US from the UK and to Austin (which I've been thinking about for over a year).. and nearer to my brother who lives in Houston. :))

No worries Andrew and Team.
You can't please everyone and there will always be detractors. Your previous products were much-needed advancements in WordPress Web Development (for me, anyway)... and DMS is at the forefront of the next wave. I don't underestimate the hard work and long hours that have gone into preparing for today - not helped by the site itself actually being hacked. That being said - the issues with the site don't detract from your signigicant achievement.
I wish you all the best with the Launch.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the PagelinesDevCamp has to offer; in the meantime, cannot wait for DMS!

All's fair in love and war...
The same people upset about everything else DMS and Pagelines -related have their knickers in a twist over this... unbelievable. There are countless blog posts like this on ye olde interwebz not dissimilar to this from competitors and customers alike. There are a lot of big-name shills out there and there's no reason why their shadiness shouldn't be exposed.
I can think of one competitor in particular who publicly goes on the warpath on other people's blogs if they dare criticise him, his associates and money-grubbing products and programmes for any reason... I was doing rudimentary searches looking for reviews and was kncoked out at seeing this guy pop up so much... now THAT actually swayed me to never support them ever again.

@longe630- A thousand times YES!
Tech is constantly evolving and it's incredible to me that anyone professing to be a professional designer / developer would admit to utilising antiquated tools / methods for getting the job done.
1 year, 3 months ago on The problem with themes…
@JangoBout - Well said! Being a Marketing Communications Manager myself with a background that includes all of these areas, wish I could like this a few thousand times.!
I find it extraordinary that people
are that bothered by a tool - yes the Pagelines Framework & DMS are
tools (to me at least - no different than Dreamweaver) - that save TIME. Being self-employed,
productivity is my major concern - especially because I'm disabled,
which impacts my ability to get things done when I'm having a OK-enough
day.. I like being able to chop-and-change without having to spend half
my time (or most of my time) doing it. The only limitation I have is
that my coding skills could be better (and I'm working on that; I learn by doing)..Also important is that I don't have to spend a huge amount of time on things that clients could do for themselves if only they tried. Pagelines makes that possible.
example of the brilliance of Pagelines: I took part in an online
conference where participants were divided into teams. I was at home, in
bed, connected via skype & ustream. The crux of our proposed
project was a website. The only other teams that proposed websites
sketched out their ideas and did rudimentary mindmapping in PowerPoint
(I kid you not). In less than an hour I had something up online for
everyone to look at, including a 1st pass at a logo, blog and relevent
content (It took some doing to convince the non-techies that there was
no need for a separate blog). Needless to say that a great idea aside,
the ability to do so much with so little time made an impression. My
Yes, money is a major concern for me but Pagelines has been worth the investment. What I really regret is having spend so much money on other frameworks and themes in the past that just weren't enough in the long-term. The moment I started using Pagelines they were rendered useless for the reasons detailed in this post. I'm really ooking forward to DMS.

Great Core Values and good to know that I'm already on board with them. I'm a firm believer in Karma aka The Law of Attraction. 8))
This is a great opportunity for Pagelines Evnthusiasts like myself.
I've applied and and hope to be a part of what will undoubtedly be a very exciting community!!
I managed well enough as a Pagelines Framework Developer despite not being anything like a Coding Goddess but DMS is the direction I was hoping you guys would take eventually. Well done to everyone for their hard work - and for listening. Hoping I am one of the ten - actually holdng off on 2 projects until this is released (in fact - I was the release date was sooner lol)!

Brilliant! I've been using the Pagelines Framework for some time now and haven't looked back. I''ve tried other platforms and themes but nothing comes close to me. Can't wait for this new release!

Sorry MJ - I'm getting emails from you about upgrading - like this is a BIG rollout... and when I go to my account I get messages that I dont have the necessary Product to upgrade. I was just about to pay for the 50% off Dev Framework Plus --- $197 thinking I was missing out (which if I was this would be the worst poss time to have to splash out - though I am keeping the store humming lol).
Thanks for checking 8)) *mops confuzzled brow*
2 years, 4 months ago on PageLines 2.2! Bootstrap, LESS, Shortcodes & More…
@GrantBarrettI'm wondering the same, to be honest.
I'm already on the +Plus Developer Membership. I've upgraded the Framework et al since the first release...
Am I now "upgrading" to 2.2 for $200 AND adding yet another monthly subscription fee on top of the one I already have?
Pagelines is a great product, no doubt,, but as someone who has been with you and who has most of your releases and flies the flag for all thing Pagelines this is a huge financial committment to make especially for those of us who don't have deep pockets. It's bugging me now that I'm getting emails about "Upgrading" but really what we are talking about is a whole new Framework & sub plan. It really makes no sense to me.
