@brianmac At this time the Nexus 4 hasn't been confirmed for sale on retail outlets outside of the Google Play Store and T-Mobile stores. We'll keep an eye out if anything changes and post a story for our readers interested in purchasing the N4.Thanks for the question!

@gdeadfan I do agree mostly with you. A larger pool of data is needed for a more accurate representation of the verdict's impact on sales. Perhaps Quarterly reports will give us a better idea at that point.
1 year, 10 months ago on Apple's trial win aids Samsung- Research shows increased Galaxy S3 sales following verdict
@RaphaelMastromonaco The article never mentions anything about iPhone sales dropping. It simply states that sales of the Samsung Galaxy S3 have increased based on market studies.Ultimately it's hard to say if it is truly related to the trial alone, or like you mentioned, sales reps pushing the phone, but sales are up never the less. I have no doubt the imminent release of the iPhone 5 is curtailing iPhone sales but there is a reason Samsung is the #1 mobile manufacturing worldwide.
For that price I would actually expect MORE. They can easily increase RAM, Internal Storage, etc and still keep the $1,299 price tag.

You are right, I stand corrected. On a side note, I was thinking the Nexus S as opposed to the Nexus One in my mind for whatever reason. Either way the phone does look far more similar to me to a Nexus One & S as opposed to a Hero.

The Nexus One is a Samsung design so they won't have to worry ;-)
According to Google Play, the Galaxy Nexus doesn't ship WITH 4.1 Jelly Bean but will OTA shortly. I'm thinking within the next week.

2 years ago on A Week With Jelly Bean: An In-Depth Review Of Android 4.1 As A Daily Driver
Your statement is not 100% accurate.
First the "Soon with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean" was listed on the site even prior to I/O 2012. It was a leak that eventually foreshadowed the announcement of Jelly Bean at the conference. The "Coming Soon" notification is only a day or two old which is well over a week after the conference as well. Let's be honest, there is no way Google is out of inventory. Google would have planned for increased sales and the majority of the public still buy their phones from carriers.
Also soon following the injunction being upheld after Samsung's appeal; Google then stops selling the phone online. This purely has to do with:
1. Google is joining Samsung in a legal battle and they t would be badly reflected upon if they continue to sell the Galaxy Nexus despite the judge's ruling. 2. Google's strategy is not to hold off sales to update phones prior....it's about making money which they could make by selling the phones and issuing an OTA update after.

Great write up. As soon as I get my SIII I will be rooting to Jelly Bean.
This only has to deal with the legal injunction and nothing else.
Excited to hear more about this.
