Dear Ellen, I am confused as to where is the right place for support - here, on the PageLines Forums or via email. Filtering is brilliant - it completely transformed my site, in terms of looks, feel and functionality! But I am trying to change the meta info. At the moment there are two choices: Nothing, or author and date. I would like to display the tags. Ideally, there would be a window like the Dashboard - Pagelines - Site Options - Blog and Post - Full Width Post Meta - Configure Full Width Post Meta Bar field that would allow me to enter the relevant Pagelines shortcodes for meta info, with wording. But that might be a big job... In the meantime, which file would have have to see if I can alter this by hand? Thanks for your help, and thank you for Filtering! Yours faithfully, Jan.

@AleksanderHansson @caspersjan Thank you, Aleksander, that is good news and even more to look forward to, besides the promises of DMS...
As for the closing/opening issue, I thing it would be worth your while to reconsider. I am using another plugin at the moment but would like to change, to keep things within Pagelines, so to speak. The purpose is the presentation of project members. It would be confusing if the windows remained open and quite awkward having to close each pop-up window by hand. But mainly it goes against the grain of usual interface habits: For the most part, anything that pops up closes when I click somewhere outside of them. Thankfully so, because the little buttons to close them can often be hard to find. It is just a suggestion - crucial for me personally, but perhaps useful for others, too.
Yours faithfully, Jan.

Hello, I have been looking at Squared since it came out. It looks like another great piece of work! Now I have a good use for it, but I would need more than 15 squares. Is that number carved in stone? I would need twenty one...
I have another question, regarding the closing of boxes - is it possible to have an opened box close upon the opening of a new one? The way it is in the demo, boxes always have to be closed manually, via the button. If I open another and then another, I end up with three open boxes and obscured access to the other ones. An automatic function that would only ever keep one box open would be helpful, I think. But this can be sorted no doubt, I'll wait until I have made the purchase before I insist further. If only I can get another six boxes...
@bestrag Dear bestrag, happy days! I shall try it right away. Thank you for putting this section together.

Dear bestrag, this looks amazing! Just one question, since you mention one-page navigation several times: I have a site with six pages, which are accessed through a fixed menu. Could I have a different Scroll Nav menu for each of these pages, directing the visitor to different portions of the pages? I have been waiting for this functionality for a long time. Scroll Nav looks like it might be a light at the end of this particular tunnel...
Hello Nick, the link at "Make page a Showoff page" links to the video for the Events section. The video instructions for Events and Projects were great - if there is a similar one for Showoff it would be great! Greetings, Jan.

@nphaskins Great news, Mr Haskins, I look forward to a sliding journey of discovery! Hope you can get some rest now... Yours gratefully, faithfully, Jan.
P.S.: And would it perhaps be possible to us a fixed CrackBar for the navigation between panels?
1 year, 3 months ago on Showoff
Dear Nick, it seems you did it again - something I tried to achieve with the help of assorted plugins and scripts has been carefully put together into a beautiful package. Just two questions before an instant purchase: In the samples there is a floating button navigation to the panels. Is it possible to style these buttons? And is it possible to add a "back to top" button? Greetings, Jan.
Dear Nick, is there an option to make Navable a fixed nav menu - like Crackbar? That would be a great boon of course and an instant buy! Greetings, Jan.

Hello, I just wanted to check two things before purchasing:
1) Is it possible to duplicate the section? You mentioned this in a reply to an earlier query, but I am not sure if I understood it correctly. I have to document the work in several schools, each with multiple projects. Pockets would be great if I could have separate instance for each school, with their own archives etc..
2) Is there any way to show video? Can I put something into the lead text (e.g. a BA Shortcuts VIMEOFLEX link)?
I hope to find a project soon that fits POCKETS. It looks very enticing indeed! Good luck, Jan.

Thank you, Aleksander, this new demo seals the deal. And there is nothing as reassuring as an instant response and competent support. Into the basket and onto the website Accordy Slider shall go right away, replacing something quite similar but not as well developed and comfortably integrated. Good luck with this neat section!

Hello, this looks like an interesting slider. Different colour schemes are alluded to, as well as a number of options. What are these exactly? Are there more skins than the "stitched" one shown in the samples? A little more information would help the interested customer make a decision!
@nphaskins Thank you Nick, that's perfect. Verbal continence is a virtue in any case, so in a way the 200 character optimum will a force for good! In the bag it shall go, Vimeo or not. Health and happiness for you and your family, season's greetings, Jan.

P.S.: And while I am taking up your time anyway, another question that may have an obvious answer: Does the portfolio carousel accept videos as well? Vimeo links ideally?
Dear Nick, yet again a very nice offering! I'd be tempted take out a subscription to all of your products... This one I shall put in my Christmas stocking right away, after checking two small points: In your live demo, you always have a heading, three lines of summary and then four points (Client/Date/Project URL/Categories). Is the length of the summary predefined? And can the four points be easily changed (e.g. to something like School/Date/Project URL/Country)? It seems obvious that this is the case, I just wanted to get clarity before ordering. Thank you for your ideas and your consistent output! Yours faithfully, Jan Caspers.
@Mama-Jen @mmalfatti Dear Jen, to the uninitiated: Is there a difference between a"post/page's media library" and the overall media library? I am flustered. When I go to "Media Library" on the page with the Response Gallery, there are 75 images in it. How do I make these appear in the gallery? It is probably very simple, other commentators seem to have it figured out, but I am lost. When I insert them into the page they appear in the page content, as you'd think they would. But nothing so far in this gallery that looks so beautiful everywhere I see it implemented! I appreciate your help in this and the time you take to guide lost souls such as myself! Greetings, Jan.

Please someone be so kind as to enlighten me on the CSS required to achieve the effect shown in your plugin store entry for TwinShot (http://cdn.pagelines.com/api/files/sections/screenshots/twin-shot/screenshot-1.png). It's a brilliant plugin for videos and I appreciate your work on it, but I thought I had paid for the photo option as well. It seems to have fallen by the wayside! Maybe in an update this can be addressed. Otherwise could the screenshot in question please be removed - everytime I see it I think how nice it would be to be able to use TwinShot thus! Yours faithfully, Jan.

@MarshallsIrishP Hello, any insight on the question of bullet points? There are workarounds of sorts for boxes but being able to use the generic Wordpress bullet point function would be a boon indeed!

@nphaskins Thank you Nick, I look forward to the update, hoping for some more customisation options (as in "styled button" in the BA Shortcodes and PageLines Shortcode Generator), and a few more tabs for the prolific... In the meantime, I'll try to learn a little more about custom CSS to be able to make some changes myself. Can't do any harm anyway. Greetings from Jerusalem, yours faithfully, Jan.

P.P.P.S.: Just one last thing, as Columbo would say: The first tutorial ended up containing exactly ten steps. I drafted another one, but here there are twelve steps. Is the figure of ten tabs the absolute maximum? Or could it be extended to the baker's dozen or even left open? At this, I shall leave it - do excuse this flurry of remarks and questions, I hope they will be generally useful and not just for my own benefit. Faithfully, Jan.
P.P.S.: Another observation that may be related: When naming the tabs for a tutorial "Think", "Sketch", "Analyse" etc., everything works fine (as long as the tab name is on one line, see below). But when I name them "1. Think", "2. Sketch", "3. Analyse", the page assigned to the tab is not accessed (the tab is highlighted as selected, but the page does not change - the same behaviour as in the case of the line break). Naming the tabs "1 Think", "2 Sketch", "3 Analyse" does work - it is as if it's the punctuation mark that befuddles the valiant Tabber. It would be very helpful to be able to number the tabs, of course, to stress the sequential nature of the tutorial. Apart from that, it functions and looks great for this particular application!
P.S.: Here is the link for the aforementioned page: http://www.animatinggaza.com/wordpress/?page_id=85

Dear Nick, Thank you for yet another great section. If there were styling options (as you have implemented them helpfully in BA Shortcuts), for colour, border, perhaps font and maybe even width of tabs, it would be fantastic!
I have a small problem: To accommodate a bilingual page, I would like to put two lines of text into each tab. And indeed, entering <br> adds another line and stretches the tab to fit both beautifully. Unfortunately, now the tab does not work anymore (i.e. the tab can be selected, but it does not show the page assigned to it). Here is my trial page, I kept the two lines in the first tab and went back to one line in the others. On opening page, the first tab's assigned page is displayed, but going down the tabs, it does not come back, nor would any of the others had they two lines.
Perhaps I'll have to live with one line, but it would be of great help if two lines were possible. As ever, my faith in the Avenger to fix all that needs fixing is boundless... Thank you for your care and ideas. Yours faithfully, Jan.
@arpowers Dear Andrew, I just want to implement the options shown on the sample page, such as the photo gallery that is proudly displayed on the Pagelines Store TwinShot screenshots. I would have presumed that this is possible without custom css, something I do not understand. This is why I use and appreciate Pagelines. If there is no customisation at all built into TwinShot I'd be very disappointed and of the impression to have purchased a Beta rather than a mature product - the publicity suggested otherwise ("Is it a photo gallery; no, it's a responsive video gallery etc."). If the CSS customization is simple, please publish a guide specific to the options shown in your documentation, that would be very helpful. If everything works as implied it would a wonderful section indeed! Good luck, Jan.

I just purchased TwinShot and tried it with some Vimeo videos. It works well and seamless. But how do I change the appearance? On the live demo page there were different options (descriptions below, just thumbnails etc.). There must be an interface that will allow me to change the parameters, probably in an obvious place, but I couldn't find it so far.
BA Shortcodes have been a revalation and revolution - to date I am just finding my way around Wordpress CMS in the localhost shelter of XAMPP, but the Shortcodes have set me free to achieve stunningly simple designs for my nascent sites! Now Pagelines have released their own set of shortcodes - a "library" of them. But they are woefully lacking, after the standards set by BASC! The good people of Pagelines City are counting on you, Bearded Avenger! Please, put the new shortcodes library on the right tracks - it seems to have left base without directions... I would be grateful (and would very gladly pay) for a BASC sequel that raises the new 2.2. shortcodes library to the level I have so quickly come to expect.

@nphaskins Alas it works! I turned off all plugins not in use and hey presto, there is the stuff, sliding out below from behind. Thank you for your apt advice, now I can work the lot, and have already used most - columns within boxes being the most important to date... On a different note, as you asked for suggestions: I love the vertical lines of the pullquote (making the thickness variable, as in the horizontal dividers, would be extra icing on that particular cake!). If it is not impossible to generate vertical lines, e.g. between columns, that would be another milestone along the road to beautiful layout simplicity that you and your Wordpress coding comrades have opened up for the likes of me. Thanks again!
@nphaskins Thank you for your reply. I just upgraded to Pagelines 2.2.1. as advised, but I still cannot get the accordion to open and reveal the Stuff. Something's obviously awry. Not to worry, everything else works great. I saw some others may have encountered similar accordion woes and will watch this space for any resolutions.
I have only just started to look at BASC and everyting I have seen is truly wonderful - the simple joys of a vertical line or boxes in columns... A veritable magic wand for the uninitiated! So far it is only the accordeon that I cannot work out - it looks impressive on your sample site, but if I paste in the sample code (from your reply to MarcoBellocchio's query below), the "Stuff" remains visible below the "Title" and does not hide. This is the code I copied and pasted:
[ba-accordioncontent name="Baccordion" heading="Title" number="1" open="yes"]Stuff[/ba-accordioncontent]
[ba-accordioncontent name="Baccordion" heading="Title" number="2" open="no"]Stuff[/ba-accordioncontent]
I am using it on a Pagelines site which I have running on localhost, with the help of xampp, on OSX 10.5.8, in case any of this would be relevant. It is quite possible that I am doing something wrong - this entire Wordpress world is new to me. If you can give me any constructive counsel I'd be grateful, otherwise I'll leave the accordions alone for now.
Thank you for your work - it has already been a great help, and I have only just scratched the surface!
